"The patient's heartbeat is erratic; blood circulation is declining. He's disoriented, experiencing persistent headaches and vomiting, and his speech is slurred," I stated calmly, keeping my voice steady.
I continued, "This clearly indicates arrhythmia complicated by pulmonary hypertension. Immediate emergency intervention is necessary. Doctor, why have you only just arrived? Was this intentional?"
The doctors in the room were stunned. Everything I said was absolutely correct.
"I was working on a treatment plan. You know nothing." Darius's conscience was pricked by my words, but he kept up a skeptical front. "Think you can show off with a bit of textbook knowledge in front of me? You're still too green."
The Brent family's personal doctor nodded, showing his approval of me. "She's absolutely right. I really think she knows medicine."
