"Alright," Arlene nods, exhaling slowly. "Nicholson has a tender heart, but she possesses this remarkable gift for forgiveness. You just need to ensure she understands you're making an effort. The most important thing you can do is be honest with her. She might not grasp everything, but if you speak with genuine sincerity, she'll recognize your intentions."
"And what about Rockford?"
"Rockford," she clears her throat, a knowing smile crossing her lips, "is significantly more challenging to win over. He absolutely worships Nicholson. They share an unbreakable bond, and earning his trust means proving you can protect her. With Nicholson, you could present her with something adorable and she'd be smitten. Rockford will stare you down with complete indifference and walk away from whatever gift you offer without a second thought."
"Seriously?" Warner chuckles.
