Warner's POV
A full week has passed since the twins situation exploded. Arlene refuses to let Rockford and Nicholson out of her sight, taking them everywhere she goes. Both kids seem to thrive under her constant attention and protection. Just as I predicted, the alphas from all three packs those children belong to have demanded a formal meeting.
I initially thought my sweet angel was exaggerating when she promised to destroy these people for what they did. I was wrong. She has compiled detailed files on each of them, information they likely forgot existed and secrets none of them want exposed if they dare suggest Rockford and Nicholson were at fault.
We both decided the twins should stay home during this confrontation. When I called my mother to ask if she wanted to watch them, she was already demanding my father drive her over before I finished explaining the situation.
I used to think Linton was terrifying when angry.
