Chapter 15 - Is The Video Even Real

Chapter 15

Queens Estate

Torrence mansion

"What's wrong with her?" Emily asked, rushing towards Kenzie as he brought Hazel into the mansion.

"She's just exhausted," Kenzie replied.

"Wow, our arrogant Mr. 'Useless Monster' actually cares about our little Hazel," Emory said.

"Hey, don't push your limits, Kenzie warned.

"Have you fallen for her, Emory asked"

"Hey, Kenzie snapped!"

Hailey intervened, "Kenzie, take Hazel to her room and make sure she doesn't wake up."

"Okay, Mom," Kenzie said, taking Hazel upstairs.

"Mr and Mrs Neidan, would you like to stay here for the night? It's probably too late," Eric asked Emory's parents.

"Okay, sir, and thank you very much, Mr Nathan, dad replied.

"Hey, you, take them to one of the empty rooms," Eric instructed one of the staff.

"Emori, would you sleep with me? We can share a bed," Eric asked, taking Emori to her room and Hazel's room.

"Emily, you did a great job telling everything up tonight," Emily said, looking relieved but also a bit sad.

"Yeah, I know. I feel relieved too," Ailey replied.

"You're probably tired; you should go rest now," Ailey said.

"Okay, yeah, good night," Emily replied, heading to her room.

"Aren't you done with work?"I'm already tired," Hailey asked

"No, I'm actually done. Let's go," Eric replied.

Next morning

Aaaaagh, Hazel yawned as she stretched on the bed, eyes closed then snapped them open as last night's incident rushed back.

"Morning, little sis," Emory and Zinnia said from beside her.

"Ah!" Hazel screamed, startled she hadn't noticed anyone lying next to her when she woke up. "You guys scared me," she added. "Morning."

"Let's go take your bath or you'll be late for school," Emory said, climbing down from the bed.

"Come on, Hazel," Zinnia said, dragging her out of bed.

"So this is how it feels to have siblings," Hazel muttered.

"Go take your bath we already bathed," Emory said.

"But when did you bathe?" Hazel asked. "Als

"We woke up, bathed, you slept through it, so we had to wait for you," Zinnia explained.

"Okay, okay, I'm going," Hazel said, heading into the bathroom.

A few minutes later she came out with a towel wrapped around her body.

"Wow, little sis, you've got a nice shape," Emory said.

"Yeah, see those curves?" Zinnia added.

"What?" Hazel exclaimed.

"Come on, let's get dressed," Zinnia said, picking clothes from the closet.

"Yeah, let's wear the matching baggy trousers and baggy tops," Emory suggested.

"Let's go with blue," Hazel added.

"Blue is a good choice beautiful," Emory said. "White baggy top with blue baggy joggers."

"What sneakers should we pick?" Emory asked.

"White works," Hazel said.

"Yeah, Hazel's right let's wear white," Zinnia agreed.

"And a blue face cap," Emory said.

"With the blue furry headband," Zinnia added.

"And a blue cross bag," Hazel said.

"Cross bag?" Emory repeated.

"Yes, she's right," Zinnia confirmed.

"Welcome to a tomboy's fashion world," Hazel said, and the three burst out laughing.

Bank's Mansion

Levi came down the stairs for breakfast.

"Hey, can't you greet me? Or would you say you didn't see me sitting right in front of you?" Malachi Levi's father asked.

"Oh, baldman, you're home. How was your journey?" Levi replied. "I thought it was your spirit sitting there. And let me tell you something the day I start respecting you from you is the day you decide to stop controlling my life."

"Levi, is that any way to talk to your father?" Allegra, his mother, asked.

"Don't give me that crap mum and also, tell me something that video you showed me is it real or not just answer?"Levi snapped

"What do you mean, 'is it real'?" Allegra replied.

"Don't give me that crap, Mom. Is it real or not? Just say it," Levi pressed.

"Hey, don't raise your voice here," Malachi warned. "What exactly do you want to do? Tell me even if it's not real tell me, even if she didn't take the money are you planning on getting back with her?" Malachi snapped.

"So you mean what happened back then is all your fault? The video you showed me was photoshopped, right?" Levi asked angrily.

"Yeah, it is," Allegra admitted. "And don't think about getting back with that girl, okay? If you dare, I'm going to disown you. You can't be with a lowlife and still live under my roof," Malachi warned.

"Okay then, I'm leaving. From today on, forget I ever had a family you're both no longer my parents," Levi said.

"Levi, no! Please don't go! Please don't leave me i'm your mother!" Allegra pleaded.

"A mother who can't stand up for her son," Levi replied.

"Please, Malachi, stop him! I beg you he's my only son!" Allegra begged.

"Mama, I know this isn't your fault, but Dad… and I know you don't hate her. It's Dad who's being a control freak. At least stand up for yourself one day," Levi said angrily.

"Boy, if you leave this house, you're not taking a penny understand?" Malachi snapped.

"Okay then. Bye," Levi said, walking out.

"That boy will come back begging," Malachi muttered.

"You know what? I've had enough. Malachi, give me the code."

"I can't keep pawning my son. I can't live with a monster like you," Allegra said.

"You're not allowed to take a penny either," Malachi replied.

"Hey, don't forget the company and properties are all mine," Allegra said.

"But you've transferred everything to me since we got married, right?" Guards escorts her out "Malachi said.

"You'll regret this mark my words," Allegra warned as the guard took her out of the mansion.

Outside the Bank's mansion

"Levi, Levi, wait!" Allegra called.

"What's wrong, Mom? I'm not staying if you're just going to tell me to go back inside," Levi said.

"I'm coming with you," Allegra replied.

"What? Mom, you won't be able to handle it out there," Levi said.

"Son, I picked up cans from the street before I even built the company and the house. It was after I married your dad that I transferred all my properties and assets to him," Allegra explained.

"Why did you give him everything? You should've kept a little for the future," Levi asked.

"I actually made him sign an agreement before I transferred them," Allegra said.

"What agreement?" Levi asked.

"The agreement says that if we divorce, I get my properties and assets back. Your father might've forgotten, but I didn't," Allegra replied.

"Wow, Mom, you're smart. But what if he bribes the lawyer to change it?" Levi asked.

"Impossible he doesn't even know who my lawyer is," Allegra said.

"Okay, Mom, I'll rent an apartment for you to stay in meanwhile," Levi offered.

"With what money?" Allegra asked.

"Mom, don't forget I have my personal card—and the one you gave me. Remember you said I shouldn't let the bold man? You gave me a card," Levi said.

"Son, I'm sorry for what I did. I can help you get the girl back, okay?" Allegra offered.

"No worries, Mom, I'll handle it myself. Let's go," Levi said leaving the mansion with his mum.
