Synopsis
Amara Cole has spent her life struggling to survive—working endless hours, carrying debts she never asked for, and believing that love is a luxury meant for the rich. She despises powerful men, especially those who think money can buy anything. Sebastian Blackwood is one of those men. A ruthless billionaire CEO with an empire on the brink of collapse, Sebastian needs a wife—not for love, but for survival. When fate pushes Amara into his path, he offers her an impossible deal: a six-month contract marriage in exchange for a fortune that could change her life forever. What begins as a cold business arrangement quickly turns into a dangerous game of desire, control, and buried secrets. Living under the same roof, Amara challenges Sebastian in ways no one ever has, while he fights feelings he swore never to feel again. But the past refuses to stay buried. As enemies turn into lovers, betrayals surface, rivals close in, and the line between contract and commitment begins to blur. Amara must decide if she can trust a man who believes everything has a price—while Sebastian risks losing his empire, his heart, and the woman he never intended to love. In a world where money controls everything, can love break the contract?

Chapter 1 - He Buys Her Time, Not Her Heart

The man sitting across from Amara Cole looked like trouble dressed in a thousand-dollar suit.

Sebastian Blackwood.

His name alone carried weight—power, money, and fear. The kind of man who destroyed lives with a signature.

"I'll pay you five million," he said calmly, sliding a document across the table.

Amara stared at the number, her heart racing. Five million could erase her debts, save her mother, and give her a future.

"For what?" she asked, her voice steady despite the storm inside her.

"For six months of your life," Sebastian replied coldly. "A marriage. In name only."

She laughed softly. "You think I can be bought?"

His dark eyes met hers. "Everyone can."

Amara pushed the paper back. "Find someone else."

Sebastian stood, towering over her. "You don't understand. This is not a request."

She rose too, refusing to bow. "Then understand this—I don't belong to you."

A slow smile curved his lips. "You will."

And in that moment, Amara realized—

her life was about to change forever.
