Chapter 128 - Your person.

The roar split the clouds above, reverberating through the air itself like the sky was being torn open from the inside.

Wish's blood ran cold.

Hyrin? The thought arrived with claws. If that's him—why does he sound like that. Why does he sound angry.

Fear pressed against her ribcage, making it harder to breathe than the wind already was. On the horizon, storm clouds gathered with unnatural speed—churning, roiling, alive in a way weather had no business being. The wind picked up with it, whistling through the streets with increasing ferocity, pulling at her hair and clothes like it had opinions about where she should be.

"We need to move. Now," Dusk said sharply.

His hand cut through the air. A portal of churning shadows tore open beside them—darkness folding in on itself, edges bleeding into nothing.

Dew pushed Wish through first. Followed immediately after. Dusk came through last and the portal snapped shut behind him like a jaw closing.

They emerged in the villa's courtyard.
