Boys' Bathroom — Terror, Chaos, and a Nightmare's Mercy
Ron Weasley was trapped.
The cold stone walls echoed with dripping water, and the dim candles flickered violently as he backed into a corner of the boys' bathroom.
His hands shook. His breathing was ragged.
Then—
THUD.
THUD.
THUD.
A massive shadow appeared in the doorway.
The mountain-sized troll stomped in, dragging its club behind it with a sickening scrape.
Ron's face went pale.
Ron:
"W–WWAAAAAAAH—!"
He tripped, fell on the wet floor, and in sheer panic—
He pissed his pants, the puddle spreading beneath him.
He curled up and screamed again.
◆ Neville & Seamus: Brave but Helpless
The door burst open.
Neville:
"RON! Are you here?!"
Seamus:
"There he is—oh Merlin—THAT'S A TROLL!"
Ron whimpered on the ground.
Neville and Seamus, shaking but determined, aimed their wands.
Neville:
"S–Stupefy!"
Nothing.
Seamus:
"Bombarda—!"
BOOM!
The explosion rebounded off the troll's thick hide and launched both boys into the wall.
They dropped immediately, unconscious.
Ron, seeing his last hope knocked out, fainted too—eyes rolling back.
The troll lifted its club, towering over the three defenseless boys.
It roared.
Raised its weapon.
And swung down—
—
—But the club never hit.
◆ ◆ The Shadow Appears ◆ ◆
A wave of killing intent swept across the bathroom.
The candles went out immediately.
Darkness swallowed the room completely.
The troll froze.
A cold, terrifying whisper filled the air.
Darkrai:
How pathetic.
The troll trembled, dropping its club.
From the darkest corner, a tall, pitch-black silhouette emerged, its single blue eye glowing like a ghostly flame.
Darkrai.
Keith's guardian.
The nightmare itself.
The troll tried to run.
It was already too late.
◆ Darkrai's Wrath
Shadow Ball.
Darkrai formed a sphere of compressed darkness and flicked it like a pebble.
BOOM.
The troll's chest caved inward, ribs snapping audibly.
It collapsed, gasping, crawling backward.
Dark Pulse.
The wave of pure dark energy tore through the troll's body.
Its scream echoed through the entire floor.
Then—
Silence.
The troll lay dead.
Darkrai stood over it, unbothered, his form fading back into shadow like mist.
◆ Professors Arrive — And Freeze
Moments later, the door burst open again—this time with Professors Snape, McGonagall, Flitwick, and Dumbledore.
The scene before them:
A giant troll, dead, body almost crushed Neville, Seamus, and Ron unconscious on the floor Ron with a very obvious puddle beneath him The bathroom cracked, dented, scorched
Professor McGonagall turned bright red.
McGonagall:
"Oh—for Merlin's sake—the boy wet himself…!"
Flitwick squeaked.
Snape pinched the bridge of his nose, muttering:
Snape:
"Utterly disgraceful."
◆ Students to Hospital — And No Answers
The professors levitated the boys carefully.
Flitwick:
"Wingardium Leviosa!"
Ron, Neville, and Seamus floated upward like limp mannequins.
Snape conjured sheets out of embarrassment to cover Ron's accident.
They carried them straight toward the hospital wing.
No attacker was found.
No clues remained.
Just a dead troll.
◆ Dumbledore Stays Behind
After the professors left with the boys, Dumbledore remained.
He stood alone in the destroyed bathroom, eyes half-lidded, calm, thoughtful.
Dumbledore:
"You may come out now."
A ripple of blackness spread across the walls.
Darkrai emerged silently from the shadows.
He bowed his head slightly.
Dumbledore:
"Thank you… for saving those children."
Darkrai's voice echoed telepathically.
Darkrai:
Master ordered: Interfere only if their lives were in danger.
They were losing. So I ended it.
Dumbledore nodded.
Dumbledore:
"I suspected the troll's fate was your work… which means your master is likely—"
Darkrai cut him off sharply.
Darkrai:
Do not reveal my master's name.
Dumbledore raised his hands peacefully.
Dumbledore:
"I will not.
Very well. I shall simply inform Hogwarts that Neville, Seamus, and Ron… defeated the troll."
Darkrai:
Acceptable.
Dumbledore gave a soft chuckle.
Dumbledore:
"Tell your master… he has my gratitude."
Darkrai's body faded.
Darkrai:
I shall.
And with that, he vanished into the shadows once more.
