Chapter 72 - Chapter 66

The Next Morning — Keith vs. Ron's Never-Ending Troll Story

Keith, Rias, Susan, and Helena walked into the Great Hall together.

Before they even sat down—

Ron Weasley's voice echoed. Loud. Again.

"—and then I swung my wand like this, yeah? The troll didn't stand a chance! Neville fainted but I stood strong—"

Keith sighed.

He turned to the girls.

"Is he still bragging about the troll?"

Rias, Susan, and Helena answered in perfect unison:

"Yes. And it's getting boring."

Half the Great Hall — especially the tables around Ron — nodded eagerly, whispering:

"Someone please make him stop…" "He's been bragging for DAYS." "He literally peed himself! Why is he boasting?!"

Keith shrugged and walked past Ron without even glancing at him, which somehow made Ron stop mid-sentence in frustration.

Breakfast at the Hufflepuff Table

Keith sat among the Hufflepuffs, who immediately brightened.

Cedric waved energetically.

Tonks was already stuffing toast in her mouth.

Keith smirked and leaned toward her.

"Good morning, Princess Tonks."

Tonks froze.

Her face went bright pink.

She choked on her toast.

Cedric (patting her back): "Breathe, Tonks. Breathe."

Tonks tried to glare at Keith but her ears were glowing red.

Keith just smiled, enjoying the chaos he caused.

Breakfast continued peacefully — or, well, peacefully for everyone except Tonks who was dying internally.

Defense Against the Dark Arts — Keith Sleeps Through Class

DADA with Hufflepuff and Slytherin.

Quirrell began his usual shaky introduction.

"G-g-g-good morning, class. T-today we w-will be learning—"

Keith: already asleep on his desk

The Slytherins didn't even question it anymore.

Helena sat beside him, smiling softly.

Across the room, Daphne and Cassandra watched with amusement as they took their seats.

Keith woke up just long enough to greet them:

"Morning, Daphne. Morning, Cassandra."

Both girls blushed lightly.

Then Keith immediately went back to sleep.

Cassandra whispered:

"…He really can sleep anywhere."

Daphne nodded.

"Of course. He's Keith Runcandel."

Helena Tells Snape About France

During a free period, Helena returned to Snape's office.

He was marking essays and glaring at every parchment like it personally offended him.

Helena sat down.

"Father, Keith visited Nicolas Flamel during the holidays."

Snape's quill snapped in half.

"…He WHAT?"

Helena continued casually.

"He met Nicholas and Perenelle Flamel. They treated him warmly. Oh, and he also visited the French Ministry. He saw his ancestor's portrait — Lucien Runcandel."

Snape stared at her, expression frozen.

Slowly.

Very slowly.

He removed his glasses and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Helena… are you telling me that first-year Keith Runcandel is on friendly terms with the creator of the Philosopher's Stone?"

Helena nodded.

"Yes, Father. And Perenelle treated him like a grandson."

Snape:

"…Of course she did."

He stood up and began pacing.

"A student who casually meets Nicolas Flamel…

Knows ancient alchemy…

Is a Runcandel…

And sleeps through classes."

He stopped, eyes twitching.

"Why does this boy appear in MY life?"

Helena tried not to smile.

Snape wasn't done.

"Quirrell is going to have a heart attack when he learns this."

(He wasn't wrong.)
