The Blessing of Eternity
After the Bones Departure
Once Edgar Bones departed, the mansion settled into a familiar rhythm.
Keith sent out several letters at once—
To Daphne Greengrass,
Cassandra Vole,
Astoria Greengrass,
and Nymphadora Tonks.
The message was short.
Come to Runcandel Mansion. There's something important.
Naturally, they were confused.
But they came.
Before They Arrived
In the main hall, Susan and Amelia were chatting animatedly with Keith's wives—
Rias, Luna, Grayfia, Albedo, Gamma, Scathach, Narcissa, Nagini, and Bellatrix.
Susan was unusually energetic.
Amelia was trying to act dignified and failing.
Nearby, Keith stood with Serafina, discussing logistics.
Then—quietly—Keith asked:
"Serafina… do you love me?"
She froze.
Then nodded.
"Yes."
There was no hesitation.
Keith looked at her steadily.
"Will you become one of my wives?"
Serafina's eyes widened—and then filled with joy.
She hugged him tightly.
"Yes."
No drama.
Just certainty.
The Guests Arrive
Moments later—
Daphne, Cassandra, Astoria, and Tonks arrived.
They barely had time to greet everyone before noticing the… crowd.
Confusion spread instantly.
Keith turned to Rias, Luna, Grayfia, Albedo, Gamma, and Scathach.
"I'll give my blessing now," he said calmly.
They nodded together.
They already understood.
"Blessing?"
Everyone else did not.
"Blessing?" Tonks asked.
Susan tilted her head.
Amelia narrowed her eyes suspiciously.
Narcissa, Nagini, and Bellatrix exchanged glances.
Keith answered simply.
"I'm part dragon."
Silence.
Utter silence.
Susan's jaw dropped.
Amelia blinked repeatedly.
Tonks froze mid-expression.
Narcissa inhaled sharply.
Nagini's eyes widened.
Bellatrix stared—then smiled slowly.
Astoria, Daphne, and Cassandra just nodded.
"We know," Daphne said calmly.
Everyone else stared at them.
The Truth Explained
Keith continued evenly.
"The blessing will slightly strengthen your magic, refine your bloodline, and increase resilience."
Susan's eyes sparkled.
"But more importantly," Keith said softly, "your lifespan will be linked to mine."
Realization hit.
"…Eternity?" Amelia whispered.
Keith nodded.
"You'll live as long as I do."
The room shifted.
Shock turned into joy.
Tonks grinned widely.
Susan bounced in place.
Bellatrix laughed softly.
Nagini smiled gently.
Narcissa exhaled in relief.
Amelia wiped her eyes.
"To live with you," Serafina said quietly, "for a long time…"
They all agreed.
Not one hesitation.
The Dragon's Blessing
Keith closed his eyes.
Golden light bloomed again.
His dragon aura filled the hall—not oppressive, but warm and ancient.
One by one, he placed a hand on them.
A gentle pulse.
A shared breath.
A binding not of chains—but of choice.
The blessing settled.
When it ended, Keith's eyes returned to sapphire blue.
Susan hugged him immediately.
"This is the best summer ever."
Amelia laughed through lingering embarrassment.
"I can't believe my life turned into this."
Tonks stretched.
"Well," she said cheerfully, "guess I'm immortal now."
Bellatrix smirked.
"Told you he was special."
Aftermath
As the hall filled with laughter and chatter, Rias leaned toward Luna.
"He's not collecting power," she murmured.
Luna smiled dreamily.
"He's collecting people."
Keith watched them all—safe, happy, chosen.
And for the first time in a long while—
He felt truly complete.
