2018-2019. Abdullah had made it past first class times were changing he had to go to a new primary school. His current school didn't allow boys past first class so he could either go to all-boys school or mixed school.
Abdullahs only friend at the time Dominik happened to be going to the all-boys school and because of his parents' opinions about mixed schools they were planning on sending Abdullah and his brother their anyways
Surprisingly Abdullah was excited for the new school it felt like a fresh start. His new teacher was a short blonde woman she was nice enough and his class was a mixed class, so it had third class and second class in it.
But there was 2 disappointments Dominik, and his brother weren't in his class. For a second Abdullah felt the sadness rise but forced himself to stay positive. At least we can play in the yard.
At break each class would be in a different part of the yard so when he went out, he searched for Dominik. But something felt different Dominik wasn't friendly to him anymore almost ignored him and they were in different classes, so they barely interacted.
Abdullah was unathletic didn't play sports had trouble breathing and had become chubby putting on a lot of weight. Dominik was playing soccer running around while Abdullah was completely left out outcasted by his own friend.
In his mind he had already lost his first friend he looked around everyone playing sports except for three boys that alone caught his interest.
Abdullah doesn't fully remember how he joined in the first words what lead to what. But soon he befriended three polish boys. Tomek Jan and Franciszek.
Tomek became his main friend. He had brown hair a bit chubby pale he was an average kid, but his interests lined up perfectly with Abdullah's. Video games, youtubers, random shows they immediately had something to talk about.
Abdullah didn't realise it at the time but over the years Tomek would become one of his closest most trusted friends. Someone he could rely on, talk to, and care about.
Jan was a scrawny kid he ate a lot but still looked half starved. He was white, brown haired and small. He had some nose condition where he would produce lots of mucus. He found it hilarious to blow snot everywhere to gross people out.
Tomek hated it. Abdullah would act like he did as well not because he cared, he didn't even find it gross, just weird. But he wanted to fit in and be "normal". Eventually Jan would also become his good friend.
Franciszek was an odd one. The way he spoke his accent everything about him was a bit off. He was like a chimpanzee or baboon. His intelligence quite low. With a buzz cut and dark hair he had a distinct look to him. Something about him made Abdullah uncomfortable.
One memory stuck clearly to Abdullah. Franciszek playing tag running at him waving his arms around. Abdullah doesn't know what in him caused it, but he ended up biting Franciszek and to his surprise he didn't tell the teacher.
Throughout the year he got closer with Tomek and realised Dominik only tolerated him. But with Tomek it didn't feel like that Abdullah thought he finally made a good friend.
The rest of the year went on as it normally does second class was a nice year for him at school it was a simple year a peaceful year.
He lost a friend and made a friend that would last him a lifetime in his.
