Chapter 197 - Yüz Doksan Yedi

While an important guest was expected at the last outpost by the orcs, the army commander and the Lord of Karsak City had arrived together. This event, which turned into a small family reunion, had actually happened entirely because Alyon had come to his senses.

The reason for today's visit was due to some dead soldiers who had caught the attention of the Elite Ten warriors during the clearing of the previous outposts.

Orc warriors were familiar with their superiors' fighting style and had seen the dead bodies of people killed by their hands many times. The Elite Ten members had been observing that the number of people killed by Alyon had steadily increased since the first forward outpost, and they hadn't neglected to report this to his daughter.

How could Ölümün Rüzgârı stay put when she wanted to see her father, who had been wandering around like a zombie for two years, truly starting to recover?

Besides that, her brother also had news to give to the duo setting sail for a new adventure on the Wild Swamp Continent.

"We are keeping you busy in the middle of your struggle, but we have important news to give you!"

Inside a hut within the captured outpost, four orcs were sitting facing each other and chatting. Before explaining the reason for their unannounced visit, Alyon's daughter made an introduction.

"What's up, girl? You've become quite polite since becoming a Lord's mother!"

While the other orc warriors were dealing with the intense attention of the druids surrounding them, Nafız couldn't break her old habit. While Ölümün Rüzgârı, whose face soured for a moment, quickly recovered, her brother took the floor.

"Master, allow us to enter the Wild Swamp lands with our army exceeding three million!"

Kitapkurdu was looking at her with his violet eyes; the female orc knew as well as her own name that such a proposal would come from him.

"Wild child, there's no need to spook the ducks. The matter will come to that point eventually anyway. That's when everything will be completely different; we'll rip out and throw every cur and mongrel off the continent in one go!"

The atmosphere was getting tense. The four, carrying the scars of the previous war in their hearts, raised their warrior spirits to avoid being crushed under the descending gloom.

"Drop these subjects for now, what is the important news you're going to give?"

Before the surprise meeting turned into a war council, the gray-haired orc stepped in; he was very curious about the reason for the words his daughter had just said.

"I think it would be more appropriate for me to say this; we have decided to marry Eftelya!"

As Kitapkurdu spoke with a somewhat embarrassed and bashful tone, the passion in the way he said 'Eftelya' was impossible to miss for the listeners.

"Well, well, well, our tiny orc has grown up and decided to start a family!"

Nafız, who was perhaps the first family of the puny orc sitting inside his black robe, was joyful after receiving the news. Even though she always knew this little flirt's interest in Eftelya, even she hadn't guessed things would move to this dimension.

"Very nice, when is the wedding?"

Alyon immediately took the floor from where his friend left off; for his slowly recovering mood, this news was like hitting the jackpot.

"I think it will happen within this month. I know it's not possible for you to come, but I couldn't stop myself from letting you know!"

For the two orcs who were slowly finding their groove, receiving this joyful news was pleasing. Even if they couldn't witness it with their own eyes, it was good to see that some things were going well in their homeland.

"The Khan sent the contents of this ring to you; he offers his gratitude to both of you for your work!"

The new batch of the elixir, to which the Orc Lord added his own blood and the unique energy of his lands, had arrived. Since they knew the price the Khan paid for this job, both sides became serious.

"Tell the Orc Lord that his efforts will definitely find their reward. The two continents that lived as a single piece of land many years ago will return to their old beautiful days."

After the important business and big news were finished, the four buddies started a long and enjoyable chat. The atmosphere, which became quite festive with the drinks Nafız pulled out of her stash, would not lose its warmth until the next day dawned.

Although the plan was to leave the region immediately after the destruction of the outpost, their stay at this point lasted a full day after the surprise developments.

Meanwhile, the transfer of the wounded druids and those unwilling to fight to the orc lands was completed. If the Druid Liberation Army commander Conlaoch hadn't woken them up with his booming voice after a short sleep, Nafız and Alyon would still be in their sweet dreams.

"Sir, we are being surrounded by a force of ten thousand!"

In one corner Alyon and Nafız, in the other the two siblings, had slept to erase the traces of the long day kneaded with longing and the joy of reunion.

Startled unpleasantly after the shout the huge druid tore out in panic, the four wiped their bleary eyes and headed towards the door of the single-story hut.

"Sir, we are trapped by a large, fully equipped unit!"

Conlaoch looked pale as a ghost; although he was the first to show valor among the druids, facing an enemy with a huge numerical advantage inside an outpost without high walls had scared him.

"Calm down, druid warrior!"

Ölümün Rüzgârı, who tied her long hair with an elastic band made from the tendons of wild creatures, spoke while patting the uneasy young man on the shoulder.

Her aim was to give reassurance, but no matter how gentle she tried to be, she ended up disrupting Conlaoch's entire body balance due to her exaggerated strength.

"Master, allow me to take care of them all!"

When these words echoed in the environment, the young druid's eyes almost popped out of his head. While they were surrounded by ten thousand enemy soldiers, the puny orc in front of him was saying he would kill them all.

It was impossible for him to believe this. Even though he knew the robed person was very strong, him saying he would take care of a small-scale army didn't seem credible to him.

"No need, this day was bound to come!"

As Alyon stretched to loosen his muscles that had tensed up all night, words came out of his mouth indistinctly under the effect of daylight.

"Are the warriors prepared?"

Unlike her friend, Nafız was a bit more serious; she wanted to see the latest state of the Druid Liberation Army in this first test of theirs.

"Yes, they are waiting for you in the center of the outpost!"

While walking towards the warriors all together, thousands of footsteps accompanied them. It was only a matter of time before the enemy completely surrounded them.

When they arrived at the designated place, they found a more crowded group of druids waiting for them than there should have been. The Druid Liberation Army was a force of eighty people, yet a warrior group of about a hundred and thirty stood before their eyes.

"Conlaoch."

The reluctant druids in the forward outpost should have already left. Even if they had stayed, it wasn't possible for them to reach this number.

"Sir, some of our brothers and sisters who were rescued from previous outposts and sent to the Orc Steppes changed their minds and decided to fight shoulder to shoulder with us."

Nafız immediately glanced at Kitapkurdu out of the corner of her eye. Feeling the need to make an explanation upon this, the short orc started speaking calmly.

"Master, only wounded druids are brought to the city where I am the lord; the other people are hosted within the Orc War Academy!"

While Ölümün Rüzgârı, eyes wide open, was making gestures to her brother, Kitapkurdu, acting as if he didn't see her, was spilling everything one by one.

"Who is going to give me an explanation about this matter!"

Nafız, whose short hair stood on end from anger, spoke in plural, but her target was clear. Knowing that Alyon's daughter, a mountain of an orc, couldn't wriggle out of this no matter how much she twisted, she was about to start explaining what was happening.

"No one did anything, we made this decision ourselves!"

Just before a voice rose from the ranks of the new druids, Ölümün Rüzgârı was about to speak. When the person who interrupted her stepped forward, others followed him.

"When we saw the training the orcs did, we were ashamed of ourselves!"

"We must protect our motherland too, that's why we returned!"

Many of those who had fled from war and violence had returned. The perseverance of the orcs struggling amidst lack and difficulties had evidently triggered something inside them.

"Very good, then come on, let's say hello to our guests!"
