Chapter 260 - İki Yüz Altmış

As his words, which were a declaration of self-confidence, ended, Ainle started walking toward a duplicate of the symbol scheme he had to solve to enter this hidden hall; undoubtedly, they had to pass through here to go out.

Meanwhile, a state of impatience prevailed among the forces outside; they seemed fed up with waiting for their enemies, whom they didn't know when they would encounter.

"We have been waiting here for exactly twenty days, but we haven't seen even a sign that they will come out yet!"

The warriors near the wall where the symbols were located were constantly on tenterhooks, but for those remaining at the back of the established siege, this waiting had turned into just an annoying obligation.

"Shut your mouth, idiot; if one of the monks hears you, you will find yourself in the dungeons!"

Normally, only priests should have been at the head of these warriors, but due to an extraordinary situation, many monks in the city had shown themselves this time.

Since the Sacred Twins of the Golden Crown were killed, they had returned rapidly from the front lines; they were here to fill the gap of the duo serving as administrators in the region.

"There are movements in the scheme; everyone take your positions!"

When a priest serving near the place where the enemies would appear shouted, all sounds would be cut off instantly.

The warriors were taking action to take the urgently decided steps; they needed to be completely ready in half the time the two orcs and one druid spent while entering inside.

They thought they took all precautions according to themselves, but they would learn bitterly that the reality was much different.

For Ainle, who received a part of the goddess's legacy, activating the template consisting of symbols was as easy as strolling inside the Main Druid Settlement in sunny weather.

"Stay close to me; we are leaving!"

If Nafız heard these words from Ainle at a normal time, she would undoubtedly be very surprised, but after the changing air of the young druid and his opening the scheme turned into a sea of symbols with only three moves, she would only smile.

She had understood that the bird of fortune, which landed on their own heads many years ago, was now with the person walking in front of them; forgetting the past, she wanted to see his current abilities.

"Nafız, what is this one saying?"

Unlike the female orc, Alyon hadn't figured out what was happening yet; he would take these self-confident movements of the man they carried like a patched bundle behind them as a kind of insult.

"Wait a minute, madcap Alyon; if he can speak comfortably like this, he must know something!"

The more joyless her friend was, the more interested Nafız was; she wanted to know if the ugly duckling would turn into a swan or become rotisserie chicken.

The female orc didn't seem likely to wait long for the answers to the questions in her head; five breaths later, outside the hidden room they entered with difficulty, they were facing thousands of Lands of Light Warriors.

The humans waiting in ambush for a long time were bewildered; they came face to face with their enemies before they could even fully take action.

"Attack!"

No matter what happened, these people were trained warriors; while those in the front line charged directly, some words had started to be heard from the mouths of the mages waiting at the back.

The distance between the two forces was very short; it wouldn't even take ten seconds for the warriors receiving the order to reach the trio.

Nafız, looking at the druid standing motionless in front of her, wanted to activate the Blood Dome, her defense ability, thinking something went wrong the moment the weapon of the warrior about to hit him rose up.

"You're welcome!"

The one speaking was Ainle, but the timbre of his voice had changed so much that when it reached the ears, it ensured those hearing it were filled with confidence.

The young druid had just finished his word when a shield with green symbols floating on its surface appeared around the trio; at the same time, the warrior attacking them was also thrown back screaming in pain.

"Reflecting Heart!"

Ainle would start walking after taking the area around three people under protection using a technique; the shield surrounding them was also moving with him, and whoever attacked was pushed back with the speed they came.

"Please follow me, and leave the defense job to the druid where a druid is present; otherwise, I will perceive this as an insult made to my race!"

Alyon was astonished enough for his eyes to pop out of their sockets; he had fallen into a state where he didn't know what to do in the face of both the shield's function and Ainle's words.

"Oh my god, the man entered the dungeon as Cilalı İbo and came out as Ediz Hun; oh consciousness inheritance, what are you capable of!"

Nafız was only making a situation assessment internally; one had to be blind not to see that the young druid's fortune wasn't inferior to theirs at all.

The trio was walking straight; the enemies, realizing they couldn't harm them with close combat, had already unleashed magical attacks upon them.

This time the female orc wasn't in a hurry; she waited to see how Ainle, offering his solution for close combat, would cope with this situation.

"Elemental Heart!"

There wasn't even a single sign of panic on the young druid's face; swinging his hand calmly, he had only added some symbols onto the shield he created.

Attacks resembling a colorful rain were falling on them incessantly, while the trio consisting of two orcs and a druid was only busy watching them as if watching a fireworks display.

Now, besides green symbols, red lizards, blue fish, lightning-colored dragons, yellow turtles, and transparent birds were flying on the shield; thanks to these symbols, each representing an element, the mages' attacks melted as soon as they touched the shield's surface, strengthening it gradually rather than weakening it.

"Alyon, I see that your desire for war is ravaging your soul. If you want, I can help you with this!"

"How!"

When Ainle spoke turning to him, the grey-haired orc was indeed eating himself up inside; the orc pride, thoroughly tempered in the dungeon trial, was screaming at him to tear the enemies surrounding them into pieces.

Therefore, Alyon had answered being caught unprepared faced with the offer coming suddenly; whatever was in his heart had almost spilled onto his tongue.

"My shield only prevents attacks made from outside; you can attack from here if you want, or go out, and thanks to the shield around you, you can return whenever your heart desires!"

Ainle, swinging his hand toward the grey-haired orc while speaking, had ensured he was surrounded by dark green energy; although Alyon didn't know what this was, he would feel more comfortable than ever inside it.

Warrior's Frenzy

Alyon had started using his second lineage power instantly; together with his giant axe he took out of his inter-spatial ring, he was charging madly toward the crowd waiting for them.

At the same moments, the young druid's eyes were on Nafız standing inside the shield; he seemed as if he would say something but couldn't be sure of the results.

"I am comfortable here; mind your own business!"

Ainle, thinking of offering the protection he provided to the grey-haired orc to the female orc as well, would start walking turning ahead with the answer he received. Although he transformed into a completely different person right now, his instincts were warning him harshly not to mess with Nafız.

"Come to your father, you sons of whores; I will offer your miserable lives as sacrifices to my hero ancestors!"

Meanwhile, Alyon had gone mad in the full sense of the word; while black flames overflowing from his body mixed with the energy surrounding him all around, he was tearing off the head of a warrior he caught by the throat in a single move.

The last events he experienced in the dungeon had ensured he found his true nature; especially experiencing what the last lineage power user, who came to the battlefield heroically and struggled until exhaustion, went through had filled his heart with a pride belonging to those days.
