Chapter 261 - İki Yüz Altmış Bir

Alyon was getting excited as he struck, and getting even wilder as he got excited; maybe he was here physically, but his soul was currently in the battlefield where orcs suffered genocide.

"Ainle, does the energy surrounding our guy have a certain limit?"

When Nafız saw her friend advancing toward the inside of the enemy gradually, she wanted to be sure about some issues because Alyon could remain completely defenseless faced with a surprise that would occur.

"Rest assured, the name of the shield on the orc warrior is the Heart of Massacre. When it unites with an orc using lineage power, it constantly regenerates itself by draining the life energy of the enemies he massacred!"

What kind of thing is this, Nafız thought; if the orc warrior using lineage power possessed enough might, didn't this mean he could go over a huge battalion alone?

While Druids and Orcs ruled the whole world for centuries, they hadn't achieved this with their sympathetic natures and abilities to establish dialogue, but witnessing such a dominant ability combination was truly unbelievable.

"Since we started this job, then we must do it justice!"

There was no possibility for today's enemy to be tomorrow's friend; the people here could stand against them in an even stronger form after a very short time.

"Would you like me to use a protection ability for you?"

Ainle, sensing Nafız's intention, wouldn't hold himself back this time; he wanted to perform his duty inherited from his ancestors.

"No need for now, but when a time comes, I will want you to use all your ability!"

Although the words might seem to have come out of the female orc's mouth casually, Ainle, who more or less understood what they meant, knew very well how heavy they were.

Since Nafız, who caught the chance to glance at the past inside the dungeon, decided to take revenge here for the things she couldn't realize there, the journey ending in death had started for the disciples of the Lands of Light.

On one side Alyon, whose soul and the shield surrounding him strengthened as he massacred, and on the other side Nafız, opening bloody paths among the doomsday crowd with her daggers reaching two meters in length.

What happened was like the waking of a monster sleeping underground for hundreds of years; a team consisting of a druid and two orcs was fighting against thousands of enemies without even blinking their eyes.

The orc warriors, keeping a low profile since they entered the Wild Swamp continent, were finally acting to their hearts' content, while the druid, the real owner of the land, was watching what happened with a proud expression.

The front lines were almost completely scattered; warriors seeing the fate of their friends were fleeing backward, ignoring the orders they received.

They were like living proof of what the disruption of order would cost in a war; while fleeing in fear, they hadn't thought for even a second about crushing the mages supporting them with long-range attacks.

"Sir, our entire battle order is scattered!"

"We are waiting for your orders!"

The monks managing their units from a dominating place were seeing everything happening, but even so, the reports coming didn't cease.

The situation was truly dire; warriors of two low races, whom they thought they could take the lives of with just a finger without exerting any effort, were approaching them by kicking up dust.

"Attack; the punishment for those fleeing from the front is death, and their families will also follow them on this path!"

One of the monks wearing robes in bright colors shouted adding his magic power to his voice as well; when his words rang at all four ends of the battlefield, all warriors fleeing backward would freeze.

Death had appeared not only in front of them but also behind them where they fled in hope; the only difference between the two directions was the possibility of dragging all their loved ones to disaster with them in one.

Forced by necessity, the disciples of the Lands of Light turned and fought; while the monks commanding them observed the situation in horror, they perished one by one.

"Alyon, stop dealing with small fish; our target is there!"

It was unknown whether she was disturbed by this situation or took action to eliminate stronger enemies, but while Nafız shouted to her friend, she had already taken action toward the place where the monks gathered.

"Mages, attack with all your power!"

The same monk, seeing the danger directed at them, would shout once more; now that the two orcs who got thoroughly close to each other turned into a single target, they had taken action to do what was asked of them.

"My friends, the time has come!"

A scrawny voice would be heard from inside the group possessing bright-colored robes; evidently, this time they didn't want anyone other than themselves to know what they would do.

"Pentagram!"

When the monks struck their staffs hard to the ground, they had all chanted the same word silently in unison; afterward, four energies representing fire, water, air, and earth elements would spread rapidly and take the shape of a five-pointed inverted star including the two orcs inside.

The movements of Alyon and Nafız, trapped inside this symbol surrounded by a circle, had stopped suddenly; in a state nailed to where they were, they were trying to figure out what was happening.

"Miserable creatures, just because you learned a few skills, you thought you were superior to everyone again, didn't you?"

"Mages!"

The mages, performing attacks constantly since they received the order, were missing many of these, and those finding the target were being eliminated by the two orcs, but right now the situation had changed completely.

The view was open and clear, and the enemies to be destroyed were fixed; they could strike the final blow by putting all their powers into a single attack; moreover, this time the monks numbering ten were also joining them.

"Die!"

Time was running out for the two orcs upon whom attacks were raining from all four sides; their enemies had done whatever they could to destroy them.

Trapping them inside a magic circle restricting their movements first and then destroying them with a single attack was really a good plan, but there was a very big point they skipped, and the person who was this big point had entered inside the Pentagram formed with the power of four elements with calm steps.

"Is it with this little power?"

With a wave of his hand, Ainle would surround them with Reflecting Heart and Elemental Heart shields; while looking at the attacks falling like meteorites, he was so comfortable that the young druid hadn't taken his eyes off the ten monks looking at him in astonishment for even a second.

A while later, when all attacks melted on the shield he created, he first turned a full circle around himself examining the surroundings, and later the magic circle under his feet.

There was a joyless expression on his face; Ainle was like an Istanbul Gentleman forced to see his mansion, where he spent his life, succumb to time and become a ruin.

"It wasn't enough for you to occupy this holy place for years and pollute it with your dirty bodies; on top of that, you finally committed a sin like forming a magic circle!"

As his speech continued, the young druid's voice was hardening; Ainle was really angry this time.

"After so many things you stole from my ancestors, could you only develop this much? How funny it is that you really think you can rule the laws of nature when you give yourselves flashy titles and wear robes of bright fabric!"

"Would you look at this magic circle you could make by uniting ten people? The biggest proof that you are not masters of elements but their slaves stands here, under my feet!"

"This is a curse uttered against our holy city built with the magnificence of my ancestors!"

His face was tense from anger, his nostrils were dilated as wide as they had never been; Ainle would stomp his foot on the ground so hard that those around wouldn't be able to help shaking as if a small-scale earthquake happened.

With this blow, the magic circle containing the inverted star figure formed by four elements was breaking into pieces and mixing into the air.
