INT. PADDY'S PUB — DAY
Paddy's Pub hums with its usual low-grade misery. The floor sticks to shoes in a way that feels intentional. The air smells like beer, mold, and something electrical that should probably be reported.
DENNIS polishes a glass with surgical intensity, squinting at a smudge of lipstick like it's a personal insult to his lineage.
DEE is positioned near the jukebox, rehearsing a "vulnerable" monologue into her phone camera. She is wearing a slightly too-small tactical vest.
MAC is behind the bar, doing rapid-fire push-ups. He is counting out loud, but is clearly skipping numbers to reach fifty faster.
CHARLIE is on his hands and knees by the far-left wall, hammering a loose brick back into place with a rusted claw hammer. Written above the brick in thick, black Sharpie is the name: MARIA.
FRANK is sitting at a corner booth, counting a wad of cash that looks like it was pulled out of a gutter. He licks his thumb between every bill, leaving wet, gray streaks on the currency.
The front door swings open with a violent, rusted creak.
THE LAWYER steps inside. He looks like he hasn't slept since the Gang's encounter with Reigen Arataka. He clutches a briefcase like a shield.
The Gang lets out a collective, guttural groan of pure hatred.
FRANK
Oh, look at this. The vulture's back to pick the bones.
DENNIS
Lawyer. You're early. I haven't even had my mid-day rage stroke yet.
Before the Lawyer can speak, the door swings open again.
LIAM and RYAN McPOYLE step in. They are shirtless under their moth-eaten bathrobes. They are glistening with an unidentifiable oil. They smile too wide, their eyes tracking the Gang in a slow, reptilian sync. They clutch a single, lukewarm glass of milk between them.
The groan in the bar becomes a chorus of screaming.
FRANK
NO. NO NO NO NO—ABSOLUTELY NOT! OUT! GET THE HELL OUT!
LAWYER (setting his briefcase on the bar with a click)
Ohhh, keep shouting. It only makes the legal reality more delicious. This is going to be my favorite part of the year.
SMASH CUT TO BLACK.
