Chapter 108 - Raw Power VS Rules

Boom!!!

A golden stream of light, like a world-opening sword slicing through chaos, instantly pierced through a distance of tens of thousands of light-years.

Frieza's figure, at this moment, was so fast that even the concept of time could not capture it.

His fist, encased in liquid gold, carried terrifying kinetic energy capable of shattering dimensions. It smashed ruthlessly toward the grand figure that occupied half of his field of vision—Eternity.

"Since you're the Chairman, I'll start with you."

"Shatter!!!"

Thud!!!

A dull, heavy explosion erupted within the void.

Frieza felt as if his punch had smashed into a bottomless quagmire or perhaps into an incorporeal Nebula.

Eternity's body, composed of billions of stars, under this punch, only rippled slightly. Countless stars flickering within his body were instantly extinguished and disintegrated under the aftershocks of this strike. Even a few miniature galaxies were turned into cosmic dust by the shock of this power.

However, to Eternity's immeasurably vast main body, this was like throwing a pebble into the ocean. Although it splashed, the ocean remained the ocean.

"Hmm?"

Frieza stopped in mid-air, looking at the starry skin before him that remained brilliant. It was even still flowing slowly.

A hint of displeasure flashed in those crimson eyes.

"The sensation is wrong."

"Too soft, it's like hitting cotton."

"Does the so-called Universe itself only have this much hardness?"

"Mortal."

Eternity's voice rang out again.

It did not come from a specific vocal organ. Instead, it vibrated from all directions, from every particle, and every ray of light.

"You are making an enemy of the entire Universe."

"Your fists are powerful, but can you shatter the void? Can you pierce through concepts?"

"I am time."

"You struggle within my body, how can you possibly harm me?"

As Eternity's words fell—

Buzz!

The space around Frieza suddenly began to undergo an eerie distortion.

The originally empty void instantly became physical shackles. It was the rules of the Universe squeezing him.

The gravitational constant was rewritten, and the strong and weak nuclear forces were overturned.

Frieza felt as if he were sealed inside a piece of solidifying amber. Even lifting a finger required fighting against the mass of the entire Universe.

"Is this suppression on the level of rules?"

"A bit interesting."

Frieza did not panic. Instead, a wild and arrogant smile curled at the corner of his lips.

"But..."

"What I hate most is this slimy feeling."

"Break open!"

Boom!!!

Golden aura erupted from Frieza's body like a volcanic eruption.

That terrifying power level of one hundred quintillion was released without reservation at this moment.

Crack! Crack!

The spatial rules around him that tried to imprison him, in the face of this pure, overbearing power, were like fragile glass, instantly shattering.

"What rules!"

"What concepts!"

Frieza turned into a bolt of golden lightning and charged at Eternity again.

"As long as the power is great enough, even causality can be pierced through."

"This is the truth of me, Frieza!"

Whoosh... Whoosh...

Frieza's figure pulled out countless afterimages around Eternity's massive body. It was movement that exceeded the speed of light by countless times.

In one second, he threw hundreds of millions of punches. Every punch carried energy sufficient to destroy a galaxy. Every kick was enough to explode a black hole.

Rumble!

At this moment, Eternity's originally calm body, was like a scroll thrown into a blender, becoming fragmented and chaotic.

Stars wailed, and galaxies collapsed.

Even Eternity's giant face, composed of nebulae, was half-blasted away by a point-blank Ki Blast from Frieza.

"Oh-ho-ho-ho..."

"How is it? Does it hurt?"

Frieza hovered amidst the shattered nebulae. He was panting, but the smile on his face grew more ferocious.

"This is the power of the mortal you look down upon."

However, just when Frieza thought he had gained the upper hand, that clump of scattered Nebula, under the pull of some eerie power, slowly and irreversibly gathered again.

Extinguished stars were reignited. Collapsed galaxies were rearranged.

In just a few moments, Eternity returned to his original state.

Unscathed.

Not even his aura had weakened in the slightest.

"Futile."

Eternity's voice remained cold, as if the world-destroying attack just now was merely a breeze brushing over the surface of the water.

"As long as the Universe exists, I will not perish."

"Your power is indeed great, even surpassing most of the Celestials."

"But you are still using material-level means to attack a conceptual existence."

"It is like using a sword to cut through flowing water, utterly foolish."

Looking at the restored Eternity, the smile on Frieza's face finally froze. For the first time, a hint of irritation appeared in those crimson eyes.

"Tch..."

Frieza shook his somewhat sore arms.

"Is this thing... a slime?"

"No matter how I hit it, it won't die?"

He could feel that every one of his attacks did indeed cause damage. But this damage was a mere drop in the bucket for an existence of Eternity's magnitude.

Moreover, the opponent's recovery speed was simply unreasonably fast.

Is this the annoying part about conceptual gods?

"And..."

Frieza glanced at his own body.

Although he had the boost of his Golden Form, here, in this special dimension constructed by the Four Cosmic Deities, his Ki was being consumed at an alarming rate.

That omnipresent rule suppression was like running a marathon while carrying ten thousand tons. Even he began to feel a bit of strain.

"Is this the limit of the Golden Form?" Frieza frowned, feeling a bit displeased.

"If I don't use those cheating Infinity Stones, relying solely on this body, if I want to tear this big guy apart, I'm afraid I'd have to keep at it until the day the Universe is destroyed."

This did not fit his aesthetic. He wanted crushing victory, absolute dominance.

Not to be here like a common laborer playing a war of attrition with a clump of nebulae.

At the edge of the battlefield, the other three deities, who had been watching coldly, now showed "as expected" expressions.

"See."

Infinity's golden phantom flickered slightly, her tone carrying a hint of contempt.

"Material power ultimately has its limits. Although he possesses energy enough to destroy a single Universe, he does not know how to utilize rules."

"He is like a barbarian holding a nuclear bomb but only knowing how to use it to bash people."

In Death's hollow eye sockets, ghostly fire flickered.

"His soul is burning, and his physical strength is fading, while Eternity is infinite."

"The outcome of this battle was destined from the very beginning."

Oblivion's hollow voice pronounced Frieza's death sentence.

"When his energy is exhausted, it will be the moment he is swallowed by the void. We don't even need to take action."

"Eternity alone is enough to completely suppress this arrogant variable until he is erased."

In their eyes, that golden figure dashing back and forth within Eternity, appearing incredibly fierce, was nothing more than a moth that had fallen into a spider's web.

The more violently it struggled, the faster it would die.

The situation seemed to have become clear.

At the center of the encirclement, Frieza stopped his attacks. He hovered before Eternity's vast starry chest, head slightly lowered, his expression unreadable.

That skin flowing with golden light also seemed to have dimmed a bit.

"Giving up?"

Eternity's grand voice rang out, carrying the majesty of judgment.

"Mortal, accept your fate."

"Hand over the Infinity Stones, and return to dust. This is your final destination."
