Chapter 109 - Black Frieza

"Give up?"

Frieza's lowered head lifted slightly. Those scarlet eyes pierced through the flowing Nebula before him, looking out into the boundless void.

His mouth did not hang with the despair the deities had anticipated. Instead, it curved into an extremely eerie and greedy smile.

"Oh ho ho ho..."

"Have you all misunderstood something?"

Frieza extended a finger and lightly tapped the air in front of him.

"I didn't stop just now because I was tired of fighting."

"It was because I heard the wonderful sound of gold coins dropping into my pocket."

Just moments ago, when he shattered the cluster of Nebula on Eternity's chest with a single punch, the Fear points on the system panel, which had been stagnant, auddenly began to jump frantically as if they had been injected with adrenaline.

[Ding! Detected Host has destroyed the core of the Andromeda Galaxy, causing the instantaneous death of trillions of life forms!)

[Fear points +5 trillion!]

[Ding! Detected Host's shockwave shattered the Magellanic Stream, causing galaxy-level panic!]

[Fear points +8 trillion!]

...

So that's how it is.

Frieza looked at the magnificent giant before him, and the look in his eyes completely changed.

What kind of cosmic deity was this?

This was clearly a massive, moving—stuffed with countless civilizations and lives—Super Mystery Box!

Every piece of his skin shattered was equivalent to destroying hundreds or thousands of galaxies. This harvesting efficiency was ten thousand times faster than him going from Planet to Planet to hand out flyers.

"You are far too kind, Director Eternity." Frieza licked his lips, the red light in his eyes surging.

"Since you've packaged so many assets and delivered them to me, if I don't accept them all, wouldn't that be far too disrespectful?"

Boom!!!

The golden aura erupted once again.

Frieza no longer hesitated, his entire body transforming into a golden drill. Spinning frantically, he charged at Eternity once more.

"Stubborn and foolish."

Eternity's voice remained cold, as if he were watching a fly trying to smash through glass.

"Rules, Reshaped."

Buzz—

The surrounding space instantly became incredibly viscous. The concept of time was stripped away, and the concept of distance was elongated.

Frieza felt as though he were charging at speeds countless times faster than light. But to the outside world, he looked like a crawling snail.

Immediately following, Eternity's massive hand, composed of billions of stars, slowly pressed down. It looked slow but it was unavoidable.

Because that was the weight of the entire Universe.

Bang!!!

Frieza's golden body was forcefully slapped away. He smashed through several dimensional barriers in the void. Finally, he crashed heavily into a chaotic primordial Nebula.

"Cough, cough..."

Frieza crawled out from the Nebula.

At this moment, he looked slightly disheveled. On that proud golden skin, fine cracks had actually appeared. It was like fine porcelain that had been struck by a heavy hammer. Even that purple tail was bent at an unnatural angle.

Pain.

A long-lost, sharp pain.

"Is this the power of a conceptual deity?"

Frieza wiped the purple blood overflowing from the corner of his lips, his gaze turning dark.

"Pure physical attacks are indeed at a disadvantage before rules."

Although he possessed a power level of 100 quintillion and the power to destroy the material Universe, facing Eternity's 'I am the Universe' cheat-like setting, his fists were like hitting air, while the opponent's counterattacks were the solid crushing of rules.

"Mortal."

Infinity's golden figure appeared beside Eternity, a hint of mockery in her voice.

"Your struggle is meaningless."

"In this dimension, we are omniscient and omnipotent gods."

"The golden shell you rely on is as fragile as paper before our rules."

Death extended a withered finger. "Wither."

Whoosh!

A gray aura of decay coiled around Frieza's body. His skin, which had been shining with golden light, actually began to show signs of oxidation, becoming dull and lusterless. Even the Ki within his body was rapidly draining away.

"Tch."

Frieza half-knelt in the void, panting heavily.

"This really is... a bit difficult to handle."

He glanced at his palm. The power of the six Infinity Stones flowed within him. If he wanted, with just a thought, he could use the Reality Stone to rewrite the rules. Use the Space Stone to tear dimensions, and the Power Stone to shatter concepts.

But...

"No."

Frieza gritted his teeth, a flash of stubbornness in his eyes.

"If I use those stones, wouldn't I be admitting that my own power is inferior to you old fogies?"

"If word of this got out, where would I put my face as the emperor of the universe?"

As an extreme perfectionist and narcissist, he would never allow his victory to have any flaw of cheating. At least, not before he completely admitted defeat.

"However..."

Frieza glanced at the system panel.

That wave of being beaten just now, though it hurt, had bought him precious time as well as enough Fear points.

[Current accumulated Fear points: 99.9 trillion / 100 trillion]

Just a tiny bit more!

"It seems I need to add a bit more fuel to the fire."

Frieza took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing the injuries within his body. He slowly stood up, straightening his spine.

Even facing the encirclement of the Four Deities, that annoying, elegant smile still hung on his face.

"Oh my, Directors."

Frieza brushed the dust off himself.

"Is this your full strength?"

"If that's the case, I will have to complain about the quality of your service."

"This level of massage isn't even enough to loosen my bones."

"Arrogance!" A hint of anger entered Oblivion's void-like voice.

"Since you wish to die more thoroughly, we shall grant your wish."

Boom!!!

The four struck simultaneously.

Eternity's torrent of time, Infinity's spatial slicing, Death's life deprivation, and Oblivion's void consumption.

Four rule-based powers capable of restarting the Universe, converged into a pillar of destructive light, slamming heavily into Frieza's body.

"Ugh... Aaaaaah!!!!!"

Frieza let out a roar of agony.

His golden body began to disintegrate and melt under this power. Purple blood sprayed out like a rainstorm.

His aura was weakening rapidly, as if he would completely vanish from this world in the next second.

"It is over."

Eternity looked coldly at the figure struggling within the pillar of light.

"This is the price for challenging the rules."

However, at the very moment the deities thought the outcome was decided, that figure, nearly erased within the destructive pillar of light, laughed.

"Heh... hehe..."

Though the laughter was weak, it carried a sense of triumphant satisfaction.

[Ding! Congratulations to the Host! Accumulated Fear points have exceeded 100 trillion!]

[Achievement Unlocked: Nightmare of the Multiverse!]

[Unlock Conditions met! Frieza Template (Black Form) — Unlocked!]

BUZZ!!!

The previously clamorous battlefield suddenly fell into a deathly silence.

The four-colored rule-based light pillar that was destroying Frieza stopped without any warning.

Immediately after an aura as black as ink, as deep as an abyss, more void than Oblivion, colder than Death, a terrifying aura, slowly seeped out from that broken body.

That was not light.

That was the darkness that devours all light.

"Since gold isn't hard enough..."

Frieza's voice changed, becoming deeper, and more magnetic, carrying a composure that stood above all things.

Crack!

The rule-based light pillar trapping him was like fragile glass, instantly covered in cracks.

"Then I'll just change the color."

BOOOOOM!!!

Black aura soared into the sky, instantly swallowing the four-colored light pillar whole.

Within that endless darkness, a new figure slowly stepped out. His physique had not changed but his skin, except for the small purple patches on his chest and face, had all turned black.

Black Frieza!

The final form that once one-shotted True Ultra Instinct Goku and Ultra Ego Vegeta in the Dragon Ball World, had descended upon Marvel.

"Phew..."

Frieza lightly shook the black liquid from his hand, the solidified rule-based power from just now.

He looked up, those scarlet eyes watching the four deities who had gone completely stiff.

His lips curved into an extremely dangerous smile. "Sorry to have kept you all waiting. Now, Round Two begins."
