Chapter 11 - Chapter Nine

"Wait so where are you sending me again?"

Anor is stood leaning on a wall next to Grim in the spirit realm, clearly taller than him. The air has a slight green hue to it and there's a fountain of souls in the room.

"I need you to go to the ruins of the Rose Kingdom, the guy I get most of my intel from is there. When you're there, look for a old pub called 'The Bloody Rose.' At the bar, knock on the wood three times, then another four and finally twice, with pauses in-between each set."

Grim moves away from the wall, slowly making his way to the fountain, kneeling down in front of the souls. He tosses a coin into the fountain.

"Oh and Anor? When you see him, try not to kill him," Grim's voice turns more serious as he looks Anor dead in the soul, "If you do I will kill you."

He stands up and smiles at him before vanishing into a cyan ash.

Anor also vanishes, leaving red ash behind, the same colour burning lithium would give off. When he rematerializes he's back in the human world once more, surrounded by ruins, the city around him having an eerie feeling to it.

As Anor walks through the city he sees the pub, walking inside slowly and on guard.

"Right so its three, then four, then two."

Anor does the knocks in correct order, waiting for something to happen when a tall man in armor and black rags, wielding a large great sword appears. He has messy black hair and flawless white skin, almost pure white but the perfect shade of colour filling his cheeks showing that he is definitely human. The man also wears a rose on his left eye. It appears chained in place so as not to move. When Anor sees the man he quickly draws his rapier, lunging at him attempting to land a strike.
