Chapter 100 - The Promised day is here

When the car reached the outskirts of the city, Mary got out briefly and transferred all the meat from the car into her space. After that, Ryan drove straight to their new home.

Once the car was parked, Mary was the first to jump out. She opened the door and began taking the furniture out one piece at a time, placing everything neatly inside. Ryan followed behind, hanging the curtains and arranging the small items on the tables and cabinets. They moved back and forth in quiet coordination, neither of them speaking much, yet everything fell into place naturally.

More than an hour later, the house looked completely different. What had once been empty now felt warm and lived-in, as if it had always been waiting for them.

Mary was exhausted. She collapsed onto the bed, barely lifting her head as she muttered, "Let's go into the mindscape and rest. I don't even have the strength to take a bath anymore."
