"Yes!"
Feeling the prompt from the Myriad Spirit Codex, Su Ping didn't hesitate for even a second.
Instantly, within his mind, the Forest Wolf Codex page that had unfolded began to expand dramatically. The page that had once been filled with white light flared up again.
The next moment, changes slowly emerged from the top of the Forest Wolf Codex. A trace of green seemed to dye its way downward from the very top.
The entire card-like Forest Wolf Codex began to change in color.
The former white-based card gradually turned green—an earth-shaking transformation compared to before.
At that instant, Su Ping felt something extremely peculiar.
Toward Forest Wolves, it was as if he now possessed an instinctive familiarity—he understood what their howls signified, what certain subtle movements meant.
He even felt that after the Forest Wolf Codex advanced to LV2, the Forest Wolf before him regarded him with noticeably greater affection and goodwill.
Su Ping immediately understood something.
Could it be that upgrading the corresponding beast codex in the Myriad Spirit Codex increased the affinity those beasts felt toward him, while also deepening his own understanding of them?
If that was the case, it would save an enormous amount of effort.
Still, those were merely bonuses—minor details.
What truly mattered was what he gained after the Forest Wolf Codex advanced to LV2!
[Codex 'Forest Wolf' has leveled up. Current Codex Level: 2. Gained Origin Reward: Link Sharing (Forest Wolf).]
As expected, once the Forest Wolf Codex fully transformed into a green-backed card, feedback from the Myriad Spirit Codex surfaced directly in Su Ping's mind.
However, this reward made him pause.
Originally, he had thought that since lighting up the Forest Wolf Codex for the first time granted a Beast Tamer talent like True Eye, then a codex level-up reward should be something similar.
Unexpectedly, this Link Sharing was something he had never even heard of.
Could it be an entirely unprecedented ability?
Su Ping frowned slightly.
Fortunately, as if sensing his confusion, the Myriad Spirit Codex immediately provided a clear and direct explanation:
[Link Sharing (Forest Wolf): An ability derived from the Myriad Spirit Codex. Allows linked sharing with Forest Wolves whose intimacy meets the requirement and have been recorded in the Codex. Linked Forest Wolves share skill training, skill usage, and skill proficiency experience.]
[Note 1: The Codex Master may cancel the link at any time. Forest Wolves that are too far away from the Beast Tamer cannot be linked.]
[Note 2: At the current Beast Tamer level, up to 15 Forest Wolves may be linked simultaneously.]
[Note 3: If a linked Forest Wolf does not possess a corresponding skill, it cannot receive shared experience for that skill.]
Reading this ability—and feeling the instinctive understanding that accompanied it—Su Ping was momentarily stunned.
Although this ability could seemingly only be applied to Forest Wolves, its effect was far more outrageous than True Eye, which was limited to observation. Its practicality was broader—borderline terrifying.
What did this mean?
In simple terms, judging from the Codex feedback and Su Ping's realization, he could link up to fifteen Forest Wolves.
Then, those fifteen Forest Wolves could all train the skill Vine Bind simultaneously.
Under normal circumstances, such training would result in each Forest Wolf improving at a speed determined by its own talent and aptitude.
But under this linkage, it was as if each Forest Wolf's skill training speed was multiplied by fifteen.
And if among them there were exceptionally diligent ones—like Little Dot—or extraordinarily gifted ones—like his own pet Qing—
Then the effect would be even more astonishing.
Skill proficiency levels were divided into: Beginner, Proficient, Mastery, Perfect, and Transcendent.
Almost every time a skill advanced by one level, the increase in a beast's combat power was immense.
In fact, when it came to the major threshold between Mastery and Perfect—
If it were a Forest Wolf's primary combat skill, such as Vine Strangle, the boost might be even greater than jumping several cultivation realms.
Some skill levels were even directly tied to a beast's evolution and the upper limit of its racial potential.
For example, Old Sha might have broken through his racial limit and reached the Commander tier precisely because he raised Sunlight Absorption to Perfect level, thereby awakening Wolf King's Authority.
As for Transcendent?
That realm of skill mastery was never something one could force.
Some beasts could only reach it after perfecting a skill and then experiencing a sudden flash of inspiration brought about by rare opportunity.
Now, with this ability, could he one day raise all of his Forest Wolves' skills to the Perfect level?!
If that were possible, it would be truly terrifying.
Earlier, Su Ping had already decided that he would walk a unique Beast Tamer path that no one else had taken.
With the Myriad Spirit Codex, he could properly cultivate an entire group of beasts.
That was why he had never planned to sell the beasts he raised himself.
Now, that vision seemed closer and clearer than ever.
The only slight regret was that if some Forest Wolves possessed unique skills that others had not learned, those others could not acquire them through sharing.
Otherwise—
If Old Sha had Wolf King's Authority, all linked Forest Wolves would also have Wolf King's Authority.
If a Forest Wolf like Mu Tou had Forest Concealment, Wooden Armor, and Wood Spike, then once linked—
Wouldn't that mean all his Forest Wolves could instantly gain those three skills?
That would truly be too absurd.
Even as it stood now, the ability was already outrageously powerful.
And as Su Ping felt out this new ability, another thought immediately surfaced—beyond whether all his Forest Wolves' standard skills could eventually be perfected.
A different idea emerged.
Could his Woodheart Forest Wolf Breeding Base open up another type of business?
Skill level training services.
For example, taking a core combat skill like Vine Strangle and raising it from Beginner to Proficient in a short time—charging one or two hundred thousand wouldn't be excessive, right?
And if it were a full-service package—
First cultivating Wood Heart, then raising Wood Heart from Beginner to Proficient, or even Mastery—
Charging several hundred thousand, or even over a million more, would be perfectly reasonable.
Too expensive?
Then train it yourself.
That's the price of beast taming and beast cultivation!
Thinking of this, a warm, enthusiastic smile spread across Su Ping's face.
