With the codex leveled up, the next upgrade now required a full 2,000 experience points.

Clearly, this was no longer something that could be achieved in three to five days.

Su Ping merely glanced at the changes in the codex—his mind was nowhere near focused on that. He raised his voice and shouted:

"Assemble!"

After this period of time, the wolf pack had become extremely familiar with his commands. Before long, even Old Sha and Mu Tou joined in, and nearly thirty Forest Wolves, big and small, gathered together.

Including Qing in Su Ping's arms, they stood neatly assembled.

The Link Sharing ability was far too powerful for Su Ping not to make full use of it.

However, at present he could only link fifteen wolves at once, so careful selection was necessary.

Qing and Old Sha were obviously must-haves.

He also wanted to test whether Qing's mutated skills—Poison Vine Strangle and Poison Wood Heart—could benefit from shared experience.

As for the rest, naturally he chose those with higher talent.

The primary skill to be trained, however, was not Poison Vine Strangle or Accelerated Growth, the Forest Wolf's main combat skills.

Instead, it was the seemingly unimpressive Sunlight Absorption.

In reality, this was one of the Forest Wolf's most important growth skills, with extraordinary significance.

Very quickly, Su Ping selected fifteen of the most talented wolves, including Qing, Little Dot, and Old Sha.

The training method for Sunlight Absorption was even simpler—

All fifteen Forest Wolves lay together under the blazing sunlight, basking and absorbing solar energy.

This ability was extremely practical: Sunlight Absorption accelerated growth and reduced dependence on food and water.

Just sunbathing to improve?

The fifteen linked Forest Wolves—including Old Sha—didn't quite understand, but they showed no resistance whatsoever. They obeyed Su Ping's command completely.

However, one wolf nearby was utterly confused.

Mu Tou watched as the other Forest Wolves lay neatly on the grass basking in the sun, then looked at Su Ping's serious expression. This proud, top-tier Forest Wolf—born with a silver spoon—stared suspiciously at Su Ping.

Had its master really been deceived by this guy?

Could training like this really make one stronger?

Was this so-called breeder actually reliable?

Although, to be fair, life here was comfortable, pleasant, and satisfying.

But that doubt lasted only two hours.

Suddenly, a flash of light erupted.

It was Qing—the mutated little wolf—who broke through!

From Ordinary Fourth Rank, Qing advanced to Ordinary Fifth Rank, once again matching Su Ping's own level.

But that wasn't all.

Not only had Qing leveled up—its Sunlight Absorption visibly intensified. Under the noon sun, Qing shone like a piece of radiant jade.

Dazzling beyond belief!

A level-up? How was that possible?!

Mu Tou's eyes practically turned green.

In such a short time, Qing's Sunlight Absorption had reached the Proficient level?!

Although Mu Tou personally felt this skill was rather useless—mainly boosting endurance in daytime combat—skill progression became exponentially harder the higher it went!

So this… was how Forest Wolves were meant to grow?

As a Forest Wolf that had already reached the peak of its racial potential, Mu Tou was completely baffled.

Previously, its master had trained it through endless combat and resource consumption—never like this.

Could this seemingly unreliable, weak human Beast Tamer actually be a genius?

Mu Tou's limited intellect and sparse reasoning plunged into doubt—about wolf life, and even about its master, Qin Xiaoxue.

Yet the way Mu Tou looked at Su Ping grew brighter and brighter.

It understood that its future would never be limited to being a Forest Wolf.

After all, Qin Xiaoxue had another contracted beast—one Su Ping had never seen—that possessed far greater racial potential even with natural growth alone.

Still, foundations determined the future.

This human… could truly make it stronger!

And for some reason, Su Ping looked especially pleasing to the eye today.

Ignoring Mu Tou entirely, Su Ping focused on Qing's changes, unable to suppress his delight.

It worked!

The skill-training effect of Link Sharing was nothing short of a skill-level accelerator!

Although advancing from Beginner to Proficient was usually achievable through normal growth and light training, Qing had reached it in such a short time!

This ability had enormous potential.

Su Ping clenched his fist.

Sure enough, less than an hour later, starting with Little Dot, several other Forest Wolves whose Sunlight Absorption had been only Beginner-level also broke through.

These breakthroughs were even accompanied by slight increases in their overall levels.

In less than half a day, under the effects of Link Sharing, Su Ping's wolf pack experienced a massive leap in strength.

If this rate of improvement could be maintained—especially as Su Ping's own realm increased and allowed more wolves to be linked—

Then raising all of his wolves' skills to Perfect level would be effortless!

And Su Ping was convinced that day wasn't far off.

Just then, another notification appeared in the Forest Wolf Codex:

[Discovered an adult Forest Wolf. Intimacy meets requirements. Codex experience +15!]

[This Forest Wolf is an adult individual. Each additional day of interaction grants +1 Codex experience.]

Su Ping paused.

At this point, every wolf in his pack had already met the intimacy requirement. With Old Sha's help, they had truly become his closest companions.

The only exception… was Mu Tou.

Sure enough, when Su Ping looked toward Mu Tou, that same sense of closeness surfaced, and he smiled in satisfaction.

As expected—even beasts contracted to others could meet the requirement.

That meant the skill-training service he had envisioned could truly be launched!

But Su Ping had delayed for days without giving Mu Tou the final Wood Heart Elixir.

Why?

He'd been waiting for today.

Now that Mu Tou's intimacy requirement was met, feeding the elixir would at least grant him some additional codex experience.

With that decided, there was nothing left to hesitate over.

Su Ping quickly returned to the house and took the Wood Heart Elixir from the refrigerator.

Under Mu Tou's mixture of surprise and anticipation, he slowly opened the vial.
