Legend says the Stepstones were once part of the Arm of Dorne, connecting Westeros and Essos.
When the First Men invaded Westeros via the land bridge, the Green Seers among the Children of the Forest used powerful magic to shatter the Arm of Dorne, forming the Stepstones.
Thus, the Stepstones are located between the Broken Arm and the Disputed Lands.
Only two islands in the archipelago have formal names: Bloodstone Isle and Grey Gallows Isle.
Among them, Bloodstone Isle is the largest island in the Stepstones chain, located in the northwest corner of the Stepstones, north of Grey Gallows Isle.
More importantly, Bloodstone Isle has been under the control of House Velaryon since 106 AC.
...
The massive 'Free Trade' ship cut through the waves, slowly docking at Bloodstone Isle's temporary harbor.
The 'Free Trade' ship was originally named 'Balerion'.
It was the largest warship aided by Viserys, measuring a full fifty-seven meters in length!
Ser Aric, clad in white robes, disembarked first with two guards.
Weimond, who had received a letter from the Red Keep long ago, had been waiting at the temporary harbor for a long time.
Seeing Ser Aric disembark, he immediately went to greet him.
"Long time no see, Ser Aric." As he spoke, Weimond craned his neck to glance at the deck.
"Where is the Prince? I have prepared a welcoming feast and am ready to receive Your Highness at any time!"
Weimond was the eldest of Corlys's six nephews and one of the few members of House Velaryon who leaned towards the Greens.
He despised the three "Strong" bastards most of all.
And yet, one of those bastards would someday become the Lord of Driftmark, which utterly disgusted him!
"Your Highness should be arriving soon."
No sooner had Ser Aric spoken than several roars came from above the clouds.
Immediately after, Sunfyre, Dreamfyre, Vhagar, and Tessarion successively broke through the clouds and swooped down.
"Hiss-roar!"
The four Dragons did not land but circled above the fleet before flapping their leathery wings again and flying eastward.
Weimond looked in the direction the four Dragons had departed, wondering why Aegon hadn't landed, when a guess suddenly formed in his mind.
"Is the Prince planning to attack Tyrosh directly?"
Ser Aric shook his head, "I don't know, Your Highness only told me to take over Bloodstone Isle first."
Weimond nodded thoughtfully and prayed that Aegon was heading to Tyrosh to teach the increasingly arrogant Tyroshi a lesson!
-----------------
Tyrosh is a port city located directly on an island north of the Stepstones.
Excluding the land occupied in the Disputed Lands on the opposite shore, Tyrosh is actually very small.
However, its small size also allowed Tyrosh to build a wall protecting its entire hinterland.
The conflict in the Stepstones seemed to have little impact on Tyrosh; the docks were still bustling.
"Did you hear? It seems the Stepstones were granted by that damn King in the west to some snot-nosed little brat, hahahaha!"
A scrawny man with green hair and a pink beard laughed loudly.
Another Tyroshi, also with green hair, wore a mocking expression upon hearing this.
"Even Daemon and the Velaryons weren't our match, does that fool really expect a child to defeat us?"
"Hahahahaha!"
The man's words made the surrounding Tyroshi burst into laughter, completely oblivious to the violently churning clouds on the horizon!
"Hiss-roar!"
Sunfyre roared as he tore through the clouds!
On the docks, the two green-haired men, who had been clutching their bellies with laughter, suddenly stiffened and looked up with terrified faces.
At this moment, Aegon on the Dragon's back had already given the command.
"Dragonflame!"
Crimson-gold Dragonflame instantly poured down on the heads of the two green-haired men, sweeping across the ground and tearing open a gap over ten meters long!
"It's a Dragon! Run!"
The previously noisy docks instantly descended into chaos, with screams, curses, and wails intermingling.
Merchants, free men, slaves—no matter their previous status, they were now pitiful wretches wailing under the Dragonflame!
However, Sunfyre's Dragonflame was only the beginning.
After Sunfyre's first round of Dragonflame, Vhagar descended like thunder, roaring as she crushed through the clouds and began to dive towards Tyrosh!
Vhagar is the largest living Dragon; her Dragonflame is powerful enough to melt stone walls.
"Vhagar, Dragonflame!"
Aemond could not hide his excitement, his eyes bloodthirsty and cruel, his body beginning to tremble with exhilaration.
"Die! You bunch of vermin!"
Blazing Dragonflame erupted, and the city walls instantly shattered under the high-temperature impact of the Dragonflame.
Vhagar wantonly destroyed the walls and towers, while Sunfyre turned and flew towards the center of Tyrosh.
Arriving at the center of Tyrosh, Helena no longer hid, guiding Dreamfyre to fly alongside Aegon and Sunfyre.
The two Dragons twisted and turned in the air as if dancing together, elegant and powerful!
Soon, Aegon, through Sunfyre's perspective, saw one of the targets of this trip.
Sunfyre dove first, with Dreamfyre following closely behind!
One gold, one blue; one small, one large; one in front, one behind, the two Dragons flew directly towards the 'Palace of the Three Daughters' below!
The Triarchy is ruled by the High Council established in Tyrosh.
The High Council is composed of thirty-three Archons.
Lys, Myr, and Tyrosh each elect eleven, and they are all stationed in the 'Palace of the Three Daughters' in Tyrosh.
Destroying the 'Palace of the Three Daughters' was Aegon's way of giving the Triarchy a warning shot, announcing his arrival!
Boom—
Crimson-gold and pale blue Dragonflame descended simultaneously, instantly turning the once opulent palace into a sea of fire!
Unlike Dreamfyre's Dragonflame, Sunfyre's crimson-gold Dragonflame was 'semi-liquid', not only raising the temperature limit but also greatly increasing the impact force of Sunfyre's Dragonflame!
Buildings collapsed, and screams echoed throughout Tyrosh!
The Tyroshi, who prided themselves on their arrogance, were now like a pack of lowly, pathetic stray dogs, wailing and fleeing!
Aegon on the Dragon's back took in the miserable state of the Tyroshi, but felt no sympathy, only mockery!
In his previous life, there was a saying: "Backwardness leads to being beaten."
And now, this saying still applied, but needed a slight modification.
It should be "No Dragons leads to being beaten"!
In Aegon's view, the First War for the Stepstones and the Second War for the Stepstones were like playing games.
Aegon would not play 'guerrilla warfare small games' with the Triarchy in the Stepstones.
Unless all the Tyroshi retreated deep into the Disputed Lands, they should just wait for air raids every now and then!
