Jepack laughed "hehehe" for a good while before realizing he couldn't even beat the people in his get-rich-quick fantasies right now…
He scratched his head awkwardly and continued thinking of other ways.
"What other places can make big money?"
"How about copying the Revolutionary Army and robbing some Sky Gold? Sounds promising. The escort warships are usually commanded by Vice Admirals—rob them and run. Then pin the blame on the Revolutionary Army. No one would know, and the money would be mine."
Slap! Jepack clapped his hands together. The more he thought about it, the more he felt this plan had potential—one big score could last him three years!
But in the end, aside from Skypiea, his strength was still lacking. Time to wash his hands and start drawing in the lottery!
Just as Jepack was about to get up and wash his hands, he suddenly remembered the big update gift pack he hadn't checked yet!
He quickly opened the system inventory and saw a gift-box-shaped item in the top slot.

System: "…If not needed, the system will reclaim it in 10 seconds. 10 9 8…"
"No no no—don't reclaim! Big bro System, I was just joking!"
"7 6 5 4…"
"Use it immediately!"
Seeing only 3 seconds left on the countdown, Jepack frantically clicked use!
"Feels amazing!"
A warm current surged from his dantian throughout his whole body. The fatigue Jepack had been feeling vanished instantly—he felt full of energy, and a constant flow of vitality pulsed from his abdomen!
The exhaustion from staying up late last night was instantly restored, plus he gained a rapid regeneration buff on top!
Jepack felt like he could stay up for days without getting tired.
"Big bro System—you're my dad now! System daddy! I'll never call you dog system again!"
System: "…I'm not human, but you really are a dog."
Jepack stood up, stretched, waved his arms, and moved his now incredibly light body around.
"This feels way too good! System daddy knows exactly what I need and gives it to me!"
After enjoying his refreshed body for a bit, Jepack lay back down in the deck chair and checked the remaining two items.
"Basic Swordsmanship is now at 80 copies—only 20 more needed to upgrade to Tier 8 Great Swordsman! That costs 2,000,000 system coins… 200 million beri!"
"For now I'm not considering it—definitely not because I don't have the money!"
"Door-Door Fruit… should I fuse it with the Space Door?"
"I haven't eaten a Devil Fruit yet, and the fused Space Fruit specifically says no side effects!"
"Space Fruit—the name alone sounds tempting! But it doesn't explain the ability. What if it loses the teleportation part? Then I wouldn't be able to see Nojiko anymore?"
Jepack held the Door-Door Fruit in his left hand and the Space Door in his right, pondering what the fused ability would be—and what to do if it turned out bad.
If the ability was good, how should he eat it? According to Nojiko, eating a Devil Fruit tasted worse than the most disgusting thing imaginable!
In the end, he decided to fuse them anyway. The name "Space Fruit" alone was worth the gamble—and it turned out he bet right.
"System daddy, fuse the Door-Door Fruit with the Space Door!"
"Fusion successful. Host has obtained 'Space Fruit ×1'"
Space Fruit (no Devil Fruit side effects): Within a 2 km radius of yourself, you can freely teleport anywhere—whether underwater or in the sky! As long as you can see it with your eyes, you can instantly move yourself and up to two other people to that location. Additionally, anywhere you've placed a spatial coordinate, you can teleport to it regardless of distance.
"Holy—holy—holy crap, this looks insanely strong!"
Jepack exclaimed in shock after reading the description. He brought the Space Fruit to his mouth, took a bite—and before he could even swallow, he started gagging.
Then he threw the rest into the sea.
Warning! Warning! Warning! The Space Fruit must be fully consumed to gain all abilities!
"Damn it—you didn't say that earlier!"
With a plop, the fruit hit the water. Jepack immediately jumped in after it.
It took him two and a half hours to find the remaining piece he'd thrown! By then the Ten'en had sailed far away—Jepack hurriedly used Moon Step to rush back to the ship.
"I'm screwed~! Who the hell said Devil Fruits only need one bite?! If I hadn't been quick, it would've ended up in some big fish's stomach!"
"If I really lost it, I'd have to carve the ship to find the sword. Good thing—good thing—I got it back!"
After snatching it from the fish's mouth, Jepack cursed and rejoiced at the same time. When he finally got tired, he pinched his nose and swallowed the rest whole—he didn't dare chew it.
The taste in his mouth wouldn't go away—he almost passed out from it!
Drenched, he lay back in the deck chair, face to the sky, mouth wide open—a picture of someone who wished he were dead…
It wasn't until nightfall that the taste finally faded and he could close his completely dry mouth.
During this time, Nami and Guina called him for dinner once—he didn't respond at all. After confirming he wasn't dead, they left—neither of them could stand the smell coming from his mouth either.
When Jepack finally recovered, the emptiness in his eyes gradually turned bright again.
"Way too disgusting—that must've been the system's doing! When Nojiko ate hers, she didn't react this badly! And no one around can even smell it!"
Muttering complaints, Jepack began testing the Space Fruit's abilities. In the next instant, he appeared inside Nami's room.
He startled Nami, who was in the middle of changing clothes. After a moment of shock, Nami chased after the fleeing Jepack with a barrage of curses.

Jepack then teleported instantly into Guina's room.
Water sounds came from Guina's bathroom. Jepack moved inside and scared her too.
This time Jepack didn't escape—he got caught by Guina.
After enduring two and a half hours of Guina's furious scolding…
Jepack walked out onto the deck.
He let out a long sigh, overflowing with uncontainable excitement.
Then he started singing: "How lonely~ how empty it is to be invincible!"
Suddenly remembering something, he furled the sails and anchored the Ten'en in place.
In the next second he appeared inside Nami's house. Nojiko seemed to be asleep.
Jepack gently touched Nojiko's sleeping face. Just as he was about to pull back and wake her, a small hand suddenly grabbed his arm!
Looking up, Nojiko was staring at him with a teasing smile.
"Oh Since you're awake let's talk a bit!"
"No way! Jepack, I want to sleep!"
"Nojiko—don't go full Devil Fruit mode!!!"
The rest of the night passed with the two of them sitting in the dark, sharing how much they had missed each other.
As the night grew deeper…
They sat facing each other. Jepack explained his Space Fruit ability!
Nojiko: "Actually, I already felt something back in the orange grove, but I never confirmed it with you!"
Jepack: "From now on I can take you to the ship—sail with us for a while, then come back to Cocoyasi Village!"
"No thanks. I'm afraid if I go with you, I won't want to come back to the village!"
"Really?"
"You rejected me again… then it's punishment time!"

The next morning, Jepack appeared in the Ten'en's kitchen full of energy, made breakfast, unfurled the sails, and continued sailing.
Lying back in his deck chair, Jepack sighed contentedly:
