Chapter 55
Jepack returned to the Ten'en with Lucky Star. Fortunately, Nami and Guina had also just returned to the Ten'en at that moment!
Jepack introduced their new companion to the two girls. The cute little guy let out a soft "meow," raised a paw toward them, as if greeting the two of them!
This action instantly captivated Nami and Guina, leaving Jepack as the one being ignored.
"What a cute little guy! Jepack, where did you kidnap this one from?"
Jepack detailed everything that happened today, including meeting Tashigi—though he skipped over certain parts of the story.
When Jepack got to the part about meeting a girl who looked very much like Guina and even mistaking her for Guina…
Nami immediately became interested and asked teasingly: "(? ???) So did you do anything indescribable to her~? After all, the way you usually act with Big Sis Guina looks very ambiguous to outsiders!"
Jepack answered Nami righteously: "Of course not! I'm a gentleman. I realized I had the wrong person in no time!"
Then he pulled Guina, who was beside him, into his arms and said to her with a mischievous grin: "We're partners who know each other inside and out."
As he spoke, he moved his shoulder slightly and gently bumped Guina in his embrace!
Guina's face instantly turned completely red (????). Still so easily embarrassed!
Nami beside them felt like she was glowing. She made "tsk tsk tsk" sounds without yielding.
"Hey hey hey—there's still someone here!"
Jepack stretched out his other free hand and pulled Nami into his embrace as well.
"Of course I wouldn't forget about you, little cutie~!"
Guina slapped away Jepack's wandering hand and said: "Hurry up and tell the rest of the story, or hehe…"
She then made a scissor gesture toward Jepack with a fierce look.
Jepack felt a chill run through his sword sheath. He quickly pulled Guina back into his arms and hurriedly shouted: "Yame-ro! I'll tell you!"
After finishing the rest of the story, he even asked recklessly: "Did I do the right thing?"
He completely failed to notice that Guina's expression had already started to turn sour…
When she heard about the two famous swords, Guina's eyes lit up. But when she heard both were given away together, her face changed.
She flung Jepack's hand away and walked toward the training room without a word.
Jepack touched his head in confusion. Nami beside him saw the problem.
She looked at Jepack with schadenfreude and said: "Good thing I'm not a swordswoman. In short—you're screwed. Big Sis Guina isn't someone who gets angry easily. If you can't coax her properly, I don't think you'll ever get into her bed in this lifetime…"
"What are you talking about? Why did Guina suddenly get angry?"
Nami glanced at Jepack, who still didn't understand what had happened, and didn't explain why Guina was upset. Instead she covered her mouth, snickered, gave Jepack a mocking look, and walked away!
Before leaving, she cursed: "Dead straight man who thinks with his lower half! Shit's already on your head and you still don't know what happened!"
Even though Jepack didn't know why Guina was angry, he could still tell the situation was nine-tenths off.
He rubbed his stubble and thought: "Since Nami knows but won't tell, I'll give her a little deep lesson so she'll explain it properly!"
In the next second, he appeared in Nami's room. She was just changing into clothes she bought in Loguetown, admiring her own beauty!
Seeing Jepack, she was startled at first, then continued changing outfits one after another without caring that he was there.
When she put on the office-style outfit with stockings, Jepack couldn't hold back anymore.
(Two hours of process omitted here…)
After "dealing with" Nami, she told Jepack the whole reason. Looking at Nami lying completely unable to move, Jepack decided not to torment her further.
He started thinking about what to do…
Suddenly, inspiration struck.
Slap! He smacked Nami.
"That's it!"
"Stop it… I have no strength left…" Nami murmured…
Late at night, Guina, who was still training, completely ignored Jepack, who had shamelessly stood at the door for two and a half hours.
When Guina finally stopped to rest, Jepack stepped forward and attentively handed her a bottle of water.
"Tired, right? Drink some water to recharge, hehehe."
Guina glanced at Jepack without speaking, took the water, and gulped it down.
Jepack rubbed his hands together like a fly and said with a silly smile: "Look, Nami can't train with you today."
"It's been a long time since the two of us practiced swordsmanship together. How about I take her place today?"
Guina didn't reply. She put down the water, silently walked to the center of the room, blindfolded herself with a cloth strip, and indicated she agreed to Jepack's suggestion.
Jepack didn't waste words. He picked up a wooden sword from nearby, blindfolded himself, and faced Guina in a standoff.
Guina dashed forward with an attack, but Jepack easily dodged it.
Jepack didn't counterattack. He simply kept blocking Guina's moves with his sword.
He explained the key points of using Observation Haki aloud: "First, you need a strong heart and a mind that can stay calm at any moment."
"Second, you must use every part of your body to fully sense changes in external energy. For example, wind blowing is also a change in energy. You have to feel the direction the wind moves, just like predicting my next move…"
"Finally, you need to sense the 'presence' on your own body—like this…"
In the next second, Guina seemed to see Jepack open his eyes and look at her.
But in reality, Jepack's eyes were still covered by the blindfold. Every next move Guina made was clearly known to Jepack.
"This time it's an overhead slash from the left, upward sweep from the right, thrust…"
He accurately predicted Guina's next move.
After attacking fiercely for a while, Guina stopped. She felt the oppressive "presence" coming from Jepack's body.
Sensing it from Jepack's "presence," she slowly began to find the existence of "presence" within herself…
Jepack removed the blindfold from his eyes. Seeing this scene, he didn't make a sound to disturb Guina while she was comprehending. He silently walked out of the training room.
"This is what a genius in this world looks like? Good thing I've got cheats. Otherwise I really wouldn't be able to survive in this wonderful world!"
Jepack walked onto the deck, shook his head, and sighed with emotion!
