Chapter 1.3 Shen Qi
After the Second Prince left that day, he really did as he promised and told the others about the good news and he also did not forget to send a letter to Mu Xuan but did not say anything about his agreement to Shen Qi.
He only told him to bring his ass back to the Kingdom and nothing more, since the brothers wanted to surprise him.
But of course he knew Mu Xuan, he is stubborn and won't simply just come back home if told to do so, so the Second Prince especially asked for an Imperial edict from his First brother, the current Emperor.
Now, Mu Xuan had no way out but to come back immediately even if he does not want to.

She was not dumb, so even though a few pieces were still missing, she already had an idea of what was happening.
It was still a guess so she can't completely say it's true so she can only wait and see what will happen when that person comes, Mu Xuan!
"Princess, are you ready for tonight?" Little Yu asked in excitement.
"Wha?"
Shen Qi snapped out of her daze.
"Tonight? What's going to happen tonight?" Shen Qi asked, confused.
She was not listening to Little Yu, so she was clueless about what she was asking about.
"Princess, don't tell me you forgot about the celebration tonight?"
Now that she thinks about it, her Second brother did tell her three days ago that there would be a welcoming celebration in honor of Mu Xuan who successfully defeated the invaders in the battle 2 months ago.

Shen Qi walked from her courtyard to the palace; she was neither quick nor slow; she walked at her own pace.
She was not that excited to meet the leads, so no rush, instead she slowly familiarized herself with her surroundings and even sometimes stopped and admired the flowers that were scattered all over the palace grounds.
She did not care, even if she was late ,not even one bit.
Thinking about it now, ever since she first arrived here in her first world, she did nothing but laze around all day in her courtyard.

Looking at a red flower, her expression turned gentle, remembering something in her past.
Suddenly her eyes sharpened, she immediately looked back, she felt that there was someone watching her just now, but when she looked back, there was no one.
"Princess, is something wrong? Why are you sweating so much? Here is a handkerchief for you to use to wipe your sweat, princess." Little Yu handed her a piece of white cloth.

"Shen Qi, finally you came!"
A voice suddenly appeared behind Shen Qi, who then enveloped her into a tight hug.
"Second Brother, Shen Qi is sorry for being late."
Shen Qi responded to the hug before letting go.

The Second Prince dragged Shen Qi inside the hall where different kinds of high-ranking people were gathered.
When they entered, the people's attention immediately went towards them.
They stood frozen in their spot, not because of the Prince but because of the beautiful goddess who was walking beside him. Her beauty was so enchanting that all of the people inside the hall even forgot how to breathe, even the battle-worn soldiers gawked at the goddess.
Both man and woman stared fixedly at the pair, they were wondering what the relationship was between the two of them.
The men could not help but get jealous of the Second Prince because of finding such a beauty, and the women also could not help but get jealous of seeing such a beautiful woman in their entire life; some even bit their handkerchief because of grief and jealousy.
The crowd did not stop staring, not even after the two people arrived in front of the Emperor; they all wanted to know who that woman was.
"Broth- I mean Your Majesty, Shen Qi is finally here!" The Second Prince said.
"Shen Qi greets your Majesty, may your Majesty live tens of ten thousand years." Shen Qi put her hands together, curtsies, greeting the Emperor.
"Haha! Don't be too formal, Shen'er, we are not used to you calling us 'your Majesty'. Just call us as you normally call us, call us brother. Haha!"
The Emperor let out a boisterous laugh looking at Shen Qi, eyes filled with happiness.
The crowd was surprised when they saw their Emperor, who was always aloof, laugh ever so happily when he saw the beautiful goddess, but wait, call him "brother"?!
"But that's not proper, "brother"." Shen Qi said cheekily, making the Emperor laugh in a good manner.
"Haha! Come, come, come sit with us! You cheeky brat! Haha!"
The Emperor made a gesture, and Shen Qi immediately complied, sitting beside the Emperor, her brother.
Who cares if she sat beside the Emperor? He's her brother after all, and who cares if she also uses the Empress's seat as her stool to sit on? It's not as if her brother Emperor has a wife!

The people who had badmouthed Shen Qi decided to keep their mouths shut unless they didn't need it anymore, while the others gloated over others' misfortunes.
Shen Qi, hearing the rumors did not care even one bit and only focused on her mission, and that is her target!
She had already noticed Mu Xuan earlier among the crowd and had already kept her eyes on him. Even though she was watching the play in front of her, she was actually watching the system's interface.

Shen Qi sighed in relief when she finally got out of that hell. She breathes in the fresh air and does a stretch to relieve her sore muscles.
"Right, where did the two leads go? I did not see them inside."
Shen Qi suddenly got enlightened and could only smack her forehead for forgetting about the leads and even her own maid.
Who can blame her for being forgetful?
It's not like those leads are so great to be remembered, and besides, she was too busy watching her targets' foolish actions.
