CHAPTER 4.
LEXIS POV
I gazed out the window , the moon was big and swollen , emitting a soft silver glow in the room , sipping from the glass in my hand , and relishing in the taste , a knock interrupted my thoughts .
" *sigh* Aaron come in " soon a figure rushed in bowing his head .
" milord "
" speak Aaron , my patience is running dry "
" milord , rogues were found at the border , we managed to capture one alive , they were six in total ." I frowned , my grip on the glass tightened until the glass shattered , spilling its content all over the floor .
" Rogues " the word slipped through my lips with nothing but anger being fuelled with pure, and honest disdain and disgust, I had lost my family to a rouge attack , I knew I wasn't strong enough to have protected them but now my aim and mission is to find the rouge king and avenge my family as well as everyone one else who lost their lives on that dreadful day, and I still haven't found my mate , and it is believed that lycan king/alpha is stronger with his mate by his side , but if there was one thing I don't need is another burden on finding my mate , the moon goddess was just being wicked.
" but milord , a female was found as well , she shows no trait of a supernatural " Aaron added ' no traits , interesting ' .
" okay ,take me to her" I said walking past him, his shock didn't go unnoticed by me . I needed to see her if I wanted to know what happened , why was she outside the territory, without thinking I followed Aaron , Leading the way we soon got to the packs bay, when a sweet scent invaded my nose, it came from inside , without waiting for Aaron I followed the scent into the deepest parts of the bay, ignoring the greetings of people in the bay , soon the scent was closer until I entered the emergency room , it came off a girl her skin was broken filled with bite marks and covered with blood and mud ..... This was the female Aaron was talking about and this ...my mate.
