After a quick rinse in the restroom, Summer Lancaster returned to the conference room, where the meeting was already halfway through. She gently sat back in her seat. "Where are we?" she quietly asked Serena Monroe. Serena opened the documents in front of her and pointed to a spot.
"Oh."
Meanwhile, Kenneth Yates hadn't been able to take his eyes off Summer Lancaster since she'd walked in. He noticed her skirt was damp and stained a light brown color.
"President Yates, what are your thoughts on this proposal?" a vice president asked respectfully, but Kenneth didn't answer.
"President Yates?"
"Ah." Kenneth tore his gaze away. "You can make the call." Summer was engrossed in the documents, completely unaware that Kenneth had been staring at her. After the meeting, as Kenneth walked past her, he whispered, "Come by my office in a little while."
"Yes, President." After finishing her work, Summer went to the president's office.
