Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Stingy and Petty

Aurora Sterling had done so many unbelievable things today that Sharon Dalton could hardly keep track. And now, she was actually standing inside Aurora's walk-in closet.

Aurora Sterling's walk-in closet was enormous. It was less a closet and more a miniature luxury department store. It had everything imaginable, all clearly organized by section. There was nothing but international luxury brands, many of which still had their tags on and packaging intact, sitting there completely new.

The moment they stepped into Aurora Sterling's closet, the girls couldn't help but gasp in amazement. Although they all had their own walk-in closets, theirs combined paled in comparison to Aurora's. This just went to show how much the Sterling Family doted on her.

Sharon Dalton stood there in shock, her eyes scanning Aurora Sterling's closet, unable to hide the jealous hatred simmering within them.

Aurora Sterling saw the hatred in Sharon Dalton's eyes and sneered inwardly. 'This white lotus finally can't hold it in anymore. In that case, what comes next will be much easier.'

Miss White's eyes lit up as she picked up a limited-edition handbag that still had the tag on it. "Oh my god, I've wanted this bag for so long! There are only fifty of them in the whole world. I asked so many people to help me find it but came up empty. I can't believe you actually have one!"

Just then, Miss Miller stopped at Aurora Sterling's jewelry section. Her eyes sparkled as she gazed at the priceless, glittering gems. "I mean, Aurora, you have so many incredible things. Why don't you ever wear any of them? Instead, you always dress like you're in some angsty emo band. I really don't get you!"

By this point, the girls who had previously looked down on Aurora Sterling were completely captivated by her closet. Their disdain for Aurora had vanished, replaced by sheer confusion.

Aurora Sterling gave a light, breezy smile. "Well... I guess my sense of style was a little questionable before."

"More than a little questionable? It was a huge problem!" Miss White exclaimed, her eyes darting from one beautiful dress to the next, occasionally pulling one out to hold up against herself.

Aurora Sterling looked at them and said with a smile, "You can each pick out a few things you like. Consider it a peace offering from me."

The moment she said that, the girls in the closet were stunned into a brief silence. A second later, the room erupted as they all turned to stare at Aurora Sterling in disbelief.

"Are you serious? We can pick anything we want? You won't regret this?" Miss White asked, her eyes already glued to several of Aurora's new handbags.

Aurora Sterling nodded with certainty. "Of course I'm serious. You can see for yourselves, I have way too much stuff. I was actually planning on clearing out this closet to make room for new things. So please, don't be shy. Take whatever you like."

Although they were all daughters of wealthy families, many of the items here were things even they couldn't get their hands on, no matter how much money they had. And yet, Aurora had them all.

"In that case, don't mind if we do!" Miss White was the first to act, grabbing a few handbags she liked.

Miss Miller also eagerly started picking out her favorite pieces of jewelry. Afterwards, she smiled at Aurora. "You know, Aurora, I think I'm starting to like you. It seems there really were some misunderstandings between us."

"Exactly, exactly!" Miss White nodded, then added casually, "You're not at all stingy and petty like Sharon Dalton said you were. You're actually really generous!"

"Stingy and petty?" Aurora Sterling froze for a moment, then her gaze fell on Sharon Dalton. "Sharon, is that really what you think of me?"

Sharon Dalton flinched and quickly waved her hands in denial. "Aurora, no... I never said anything like that..."
