Laura Lowell was forced to lean back, and her long, jet-black hair slid over her shoulders.
Her heart was pounding so wildly it felt like it was about to leap out of her throat.
'Why does he always have to flirt with me?'
"Dr. Shaw... If people see us like this, they'll get the wrong idea."
A hint of nervousness laced Laura Lowell's clear voice.
Aiden Shaw nonchalantly gazed at the girl just inches away, his thin lips parting slightly. "In everyone else's eyes, we're already a couple. Holding hands, kissing, or even more intimate acts... it's all perfectly normal."
The next second, Laura Lowell retreated as if facing a formidable foe, her bewildered eyes watching Aiden Shaw warily.
