"Grace, that's enough. What are you trying to do now?" Caleb Forrest's face darkened, his eyes filled with nothing but hatred as he stared at her.
In his mind, the only reason Grace was causing such a scene was that she loved him too much. That love had turned to hate, and now she wanted to destroy him and Ivy White.
Ivy was already in a difficult enough position as it was.
But Grace just had to bring up her work-related blunder to keep making an issue of it. She was going too far.
"Ms. Callahan, has Ivy been responsible for reconciling accounts or collecting payments from suppliers recently? You should probably check those carefully. I suspect there might be a problem with the books." Grace ignored him and looked directly at May Callahan.
May Callahan thought for a moment. Her expression shifted slightly, and she hurried out of the room.
Ivy looked as if she were about to collapse. "Grace, must you be so ruthless?"
