Lyra had no more scenes, so he'd already removed his makeup. But instead of leaving, he waited in the dressing room for Jasper to appear.
When Jasper came in, he was in a foul mood and kicked over a chair by the door.
He walked straight to the vanity, and his makeup artists immediately swarmed around him. A flurry of hands began removing his makeup and helping him out of his costume.
Lyra remained silent, leaning against the doorway of the fitting room, just quietly watching Jasper. He possessed an unparalleled beauty, with deep-set features, a strong nose, and thin lips that curved slightly upward.
In profile, his eyebrows were thick, his lashes just as dense. Dressed in the period costume, he looked like someone who had stepped right out of a painting, leaving Lyra mesmerized.
