As they passed the intersection Mrs. Quincy had mentioned, she saw him, just as described: a man in retro nineties-style clothes standing at the corner. He would approach anyone who passed by, chasing them down and asking them something.
The car pulled over to the side of the road, and Claire Sinclair was the first to get out.
When the man saw her, he immediately ran over and reached out to grab Claire Sinclair's arm, but he was stopped by her bodyguard.
The man turned and grabbed the bodyguard's hand, asking urgently, "Have you seen Wynn Miles? Have you seen my Wynn Miles? My Wynn Miles is missing... She's gone..."
Claire Sinclair watched the man quietly, an indescribable feeling welling up inside her.
