The whole palace was decorated, maids rushing from one place to another, butlers walking with rushed footsteps doing a last-minute check, and everyone preparing for the welcome party for Rowan and Renata.
It was two pm, and in Moonlight Pavilion, Cathy sat on the edge of Evie's bed, exasperated. "Your Highness, please wake up. It is already late, and you need to be prepared by now, as you will be given a new title today," Cathy begged, sitting on the edge of the bed.
"Mmmh," Evie said, stretching herself. "Can I not go? I haven't even slept for thirty minutes," she murmured.
"You have been asleep since eleven," she said, but that didn't help.
"Helga, Lila, please help me," Cathy said, turning to both of them, who were standing in the corner, and then Lila smiled as an idea came to her.
"Your Highness, I hear the land titles from the Duchy generate a lot of money," she said, sitting next to Cathy.
