She opened her eyes to the image of him gazing towards the entrance,he noticed she'd regained consciousness and began speaking .
"Oh you're awake?" he'd already taken off his mask as the effect of the gas had worn off with time.
She ignored his remark and addressed him instead."my apologies, it would seem I mistook you for something else".
"And you're somehow certain of my identity now?" he asked rhetorically.
"No. But you don't seem to have the swastika tattoo anywhere on you so it's logical to think you're not one of them. She got up and headed towards the screen bolted to the wall in front of her.
"And that's enough for you to let me go?".
"I never said I was going to did I? she replied while walking towards the room's edge, eyes fixed on every part of the wall beneath the screen.
"Are you looking for something?" .
She ignored his question and continued her search.
"Alright then, I'll be leaving now ".
" No you won't". she snapped sharply."you still haven't explained what exactly you were doing here or how you managed to even get outside, they never let normal people past those walls ".
"What?"
"I'm saying you should identify yourself ".
"It should have gone without saying but I guess he's as out of touch as he looks" she thought internally.
She wasn't wrong, his eyes looked like he hadn't slept in days, his dark brown hair was unkept, it stretched towards his forehead in disordered fashion. His face was at least decent, he wore an ash sweater and black trousers with slippers as foot wear. He clearly wasn't putting any effort into his appearance.
"Oh, I'm Pandora hagreaves, nice to meet you..? I suppose" he stopped abruptly .
" You could just answer the questions and stop gaping "she snapped at him again while doing something entirely different.
"How didn't I notice this before? his eyes had been drawn to a tattoo on her right hand.
"That symbol on right hand,could you perhaps be one of the yhedunim?"
Quietly stopping her roaming she shot him a confused look and replied "yes indeed I am"
Nazuna was stunned, the common civilian knew next to nothing about religion ."There's someone outside the military that has knowledge on religion from the past?"
He chuckled lightly in response .
"You're laughing? you're another one of those who believe existence came about by accident?".
"Woah slow down that's quite the reach. I just thought it was funny religion still existed in this world . Not that any one cares these days".
"I suppose you're right" she replied. "You're free to leave now ".
"That's it? She's letting me go just like that? This could have been a lot worse". "If that's all I'll be leaving now" no sooner after he crossed the entrance she pulled out a gun and shot directly at his head.
She missed again .
"What the hell are you doing!" he screamed loudly.
"Calm down " it was her turn to chuckle. " After all no matter how much I shoot I won't hit you will I?".
"What nonsense are you talking about ?" He was furious. she'd asked him to leave only to use him as a walking target seconds later .
"You were confident enough to somehow leave the Walls, everyone knows the dangers that lurk outside here, no sane person would come here without knowing for sure if they could make it out alive. You carelessly turned your back on someone who'd just attempted to kill you, you waited for me to regain consciousness even when you had your chance to leave because you were sure you could deal with me if I tried anything" .
" The flame projectile i'd attacked you with isn't trackable by the human eye yet you somehow managed to move away in time,and just now you dodged a bullet. You understand what I'm getting at don't you? "
" I don't "
"Let me spell it out, you're a human who possesses a sixth limb as well."
"That makes no sense, why would I run if I didn't do anything wrong? and don't you think it's possible I didn't know exactly how dangerous this place is? " he explained while looking directly into her eyes .
" What a terrible liar "
" Sure I'll take your word for it.how about this? I'll aim at your legs this time.Or would you prefer something more flame oriented?"
"Damn bastard!" he scowled angrily.
"Well bravo. I'll admit it you got me there, wonderful, well done. Do they teach you guys in the military how to identify this stuff?"
"Yes, the first trait of people with a sixth limb is their apparent comfort in hostile situations" she replied.
"So what now? what are you going to do with this information? you're not gonna stroll over and tell them "hey this guy can dodge things" are you?"
"Yes I will and you're gonna be joining the military."
"Pardon?"
"You heard correctly. Don't waste your breath, you've been found. Your life's not gonna be the way it used to anymore" Nazuna was informing Pandora of what awaited those with abilities like them, existences forced into compulsory service.
"Lady, I'm gonna have to beg to differ.I'll allow this farce for now, It'll be trouble if she tried to use force". Pandora clearly had other ideas.
Since you're here can I assume you've seen the records?" she continued.
"Records? I see, that's why you came here" Pandora replied surprised.
"It makes perfect sense she didn't return after failing to find any sort of intrusion, she'd come here for something else " he was beginning to understand her real reason for coming .
"Yes. I've seen the archive footages, don't the higherups at the NEW ORDER show it to their subordinates?" he asked a question he already ready knew the answer to.
"They tell but don't show, unfortunately I don't believe all that nonsense about Germany winning the second world war and the world declaring war on them Seventy five years later. There's no proof that ever happened".
She was now engaging him in rapid conversation. He could no longer leave, recruitment of ability users was to her best interests as well.
"Seeing it for yourself should clear your doubts"He replied.
He went towards the screen on her right,it was a rectangle almost 25 inches long . He pushed his hand at the wall beneath it, suddenly a cuboid shaped drawer stretched out. Inside it was a rectangular box and a switch fastened unto its back.
Nazuna made a silent observation "he knows exactly what he's doing, he's been here multiple times" .
He pushed the switch and the screen immediately came to life, it was a white interface that had four words in black written on each corner of the screen
The words were history, religion, entertainment and culture.
He pushed a button on the box and the word history increased to fill the screen .
A video in black and white began playing.
"Moving pictures?"
"I suppose this is your first time seeing one" Pandora chuckled .
The video began playing with a voice acting as it's narrator. A white text appeared on the video that read ....
