Chapter 88 - Chapter 88 Let's Deal with You First.

Chapter 88 Let's Deal with You First.

Emil Bronsky, a former special forces commando, was among the best, but his advancing age was taking its toll on his physique, making him less capable.

Yet, he remained in the military, believing himself to be still exceptional, until that day… uh, that day he encountered a green creature.

Bronsky had never considered himself weaker than anyone else. Even Iron Man and the Silver Knight, he felt, were merely figures of strength, one relying on machines, the other on unknown weapons.

Until that day he met the Hulk, Bronsky learned what true power was. From that moment on, he felt he was no longer the best.

Unless he could defeat the Hulk!

For this, Bronsky risked death, undergoing Ross's modifications, but unfortunately, he suffered an even more crushing defeat than the first time.

Afterwards, upon learning that the Silver Knight could fight the Hulk to a standstill, he was even more enraged, because it meant he was inferior to the Silver Knight.

Thanks to the serum he received the first time, he fully recovered even after being sent flying by the Hulk, his bones shattered.

However, when he woke up, he learned that Ross had also been knocked away by the Hulk.

He was initially confused; Ross didn't seem like the type to dare challenge the Hulk. Did he also want to prove he was still strong despite his age?

Later, he learned it was because of the Silver Knight.

But without Ross, he didn't know how to continue becoming stronger. He couldn't help but think of the serum he had injected before. Ross had taken him to the storage warehouse and told him that the dosage was very small.

To defeat the Hulk, Bronsky decided to stop at nothing. He found the serum again and injected himself a second time.

With his strong will and mutated body, he survived and became stronger. He couldn't wait to fight the Hulk a third time.

Bronsky wanted to prove he was the strongest being on Earth!

Of course, if Finney Hellseg knew, he'd be happy to take him to the Ancient One and show him what a little brother he was.

Unfortunately, Finney Hellseg and Hulk's departure together left the military without a lead, and Bronsky couldn't find them.

Then he thought of the only person Banner had ever contacted: Ross's daughter, Betty.

If Ross were alive, he could never interrogate Betty, but Ross wasn't there, and no one in the entire base could restrain him.

  ...

Bronsky shoved Betty to the ground with one hand, coldly staring at her, and said, "He did this to your father, and you're still protecting him?"

Betty clutched her neck, red from Bronsky's grip, her eyes swollen and red, silently weeping.

Seeing Betty's silence, Bronsky's anger flared. The side effects of the mutation made him only want to find Hulk; he didn't care about anything else.

"If you don't talk, you can die."

Bronsky walked towards Betty, his eyes fierce, the murderous aura making Betty feel that these words weren't just a threat.

  "You won't find him."

Under the pressure of death, Betty finally spoke, staring fiercely at Bronsky, and said, "You'll never find him."

  "What did you say?"

Bronsky took a step forward, pulling Betty up from the ground, his face filled with madness as he asked, "What is he going to do?"

Betty looked at Bronsky; she had already realized that Bronsky wasn't looking for Banner, but for the Hulk, so she said, "He's found a way to cure the Hulk inside him; you'll never see him again."

  "Impossible!"

Bronsky roared. Unless he personally defeated the Hulk, any method to make the Hulk disappear wouldn't be a victory for him.

  "He can't do this!"

Bronsky gripped Betty's arm tightly, causing her to scream in pain.

"Where is he? Where is he now?"

The serum's side effects made Bronsky increasingly terrified. Betty, witnessing this, finally couldn't bear the fear and answered, "Greyburn Academy!"

After saying that, Betty collapsed to the ground, burying her face in her hands and sobbing.

Perhaps this answer contained more than just fear. Betty had always thought she hated her father, even wishing he didn't exist, but when she saw his miserable state not long ago, she couldn't help but feel grief.

Perhaps she didn't resent Bruce Banner, but something was quietly changing in her feelings towards the Hulk.

Actually, Betty didn't know if Banner was at Greyburn Academy at this moment, but she knew that Banner's purpose was there—to find Mr. Blue, who could cure him.

Bronsky immediately gathered his team, preparing to stop Banner. The Hulk couldn't be eliminated, at least not before he defeated him.

With Ross absent, Bronsky was virtually unrestrained, and his squad, out of fear, completely obeyed his orders.

Therefore, the operation was exceptionally efficient. When they arrived at the Greyburn campus, Finney Hellseg was still processing the massive serum sample.

Because Samuel Stern refused to comply, Finney Hellseg had to use 'Golden Grand Evolution Technique' to put him to sleep while he and Banner carried out the disposal.

  "Something's not right!"

In his 'possessed by evil spirits' state, Finney Hellseg's senses were heightened, and he immediately noticed the problem when Bronsky led his squad to this location.

Finney Hellseg told Banner to continue the disposal while he went to the window and immediately saw a group of soldiers with rifles quietly searching the surrounding area.

Finney Hellseg's expression changed slightly, and he was puzzled. He couldn't understand how the military had found them here; they hadn't been exposed along the way.

Without time to ponder where they had been exposed, Finney Hellseg turned to inform Banner. He had initially intended to use 'Explosion Magic' to dispose of all the blood, but Banner insisted on doing it himself, which is why it had taken so long.

But just as he returned to Banner's side, a figure suddenly rushed into the lab. Seeing Banner, the figure grinned maliciously, "Finally found you!"

  "And you, Silver Knight!"

Bronsky didn't find Finney Hellseg troublesome; instead, he felt a pleasant surprise. After the serum injection, his mind was now only focused on fighting and becoming stronger; he feared no one.

"You take him and go first. Leave this to me. There are soldiers downstairs, be careful. If things get tough, call Hulk!"

Finney Hellseg ignored Bronsky and instructed Banner, also telling him not to forget to bring Samuel Stern.

Banner was quite decisive in his retreat. He didn't want to fight anyone unless absolutely necessary, and he knew Finney Hellseg was strong; it was best for him not to interfere.

"Then I'll take care of you first, then call that guy out!"

Bronsky was even more excited by Finney Hellseg's decision and didn't immediately stop Banner, charging directly at Finney Hellseg with a speed far exceeding that of a normal person.
