"Hmm??"
Doing this, Inv completely turns his head around looking at me.
Seeing him somehow completely turn his head around without moving any other part of his body still leaves me a bit surprised.
Wait…
'Couldn't he have done that this whole time?!'
"J-joey?? E-es somting wong???" Inv asks me between stutters.
Trying to clear my head away from certain thoughts I respond back.
"Nothing's wrong Inv I just… wasn't expecting you to do that…"
"H-huh?? Didn yu wan tu…" Inv doesn't finish this, probably too embarrassed to say it out loud.
"I-I mean… I'm really flattered Inv… I just… wasn't talking about… that" I say to Inv trying to not make the situation even more awkward.

After a moment of silence I see Inv's eyes widen in realization.
"W-w-wai… i-i touht… y-yu…" not able to form words at this point Inv turns his head back to his front covering his face with his paws.
Seeing Inv about to start rising back up, worry immediately grips my heart.
Without thinking I jump up on Inv's back.
In surprise, Inv lets out a surprised yelp and plops back down on the ground.
Again, Inv turns his head around to me with unnatural flexibility.
"J-joey?!" Inv says my name, his face a deep dark red.
"Inv hold on a second! Nothing is wrong!" I say to Inv before he can start assuming things.
"B-bu… I sho yu someting yu didn wan tu se!" Inv says back in embarrassment.
'Yeah, no, I definitely wanted to see'
"Inv If I didn't want to see, I would've stopped you from doing that long before you lifted your tail" I say this somehow without being embarrassed. Probably due to trying to convince Inv everything is fine.
Inv's mouth opens and closes like a goldfish by my response.
While finding this adorable I can feel all 4 of my paws start getting wrapped up by Inv's fur. Feeling the tingling sensation, I find myself surprised by how comfy it is on Inv's back. It reminds me of something similar to a bed!
How long has it been since I've laid on something that wasn't only a hard surface ever since being thrown into this world?!
Wanting to feel even more of this cozy feeling I lay down on my stomach on Inv's back.
Laying down on his back I feel the most comfortable I have been in a very long time. On top of the comfortable feeling, I can feel Inv's fur start squirming all below me starting to wrap around any part of me that's currently touching his back.
The mixture of the comfiness and tingling feeling that Inv's fur gives puts me in a state of bliss.
'Bed acquired' I amusingly think to myself.
I rest my head as well on the upper top of Inv's back letting my chin rest while I look up at Inv.
…
We both look at each other in silence. Inv looks at me with a flustered expression still looking tongue tied on what to say next.
…
"Su… u didn min?" Inv breaks the silence and says this with a low voice.
"No… I already told you that I would like every part about you Inv… I just think it's a bit… too soon for that kind of stuff" I say back to him with a steady voice.
Another moment of silence permeates between us.

Inv looks away from me for a second.

Hearing a deep breath from Inv he turns his head back around to me.
"Ye… I sowy…" Inv says in an apologetic tone.
"You don't have to be sorry Inv. I wouldn't make you do something you don't want to do" right after saying this I see Inv slightly taken aback.
"U… u notic?" Inv says with a whimper.
"Sorry Inv… your skin kinda gives it away" while saying this I raise up one of my paws letting a single claw come out. Putting the claw on Inv's back I circle it around. A pink trail flaring from his skin where my claw touches.
Inv watches me do this and lets out a sigh.
"I weally sowy…" Inv mutters this out.
"You don't have to force yourself to do things like that Inv. I only care about how you feel. If you ever feel uncomfortable by something, just tell me, ok?" I say to Inv.
Inv doesn't respond back right away from my words. Instead, I see his eyes slightly start to water. Deep blue starting to form below his eyes.
Turning away from me I can hear him start sniffling to himself which makes me a bit worried.
"I-inv?" I say his name in worry while lifting my head up.
Before I can get more concerned, Inv responds back to me.
"I-i fin… e-et ok… i-i jus… tank yu" I hear Inv say to me.
With my worries somewhat alleviated I put my head back down on Inv's back letting Inv have a moment to himself to calm down.
While waiting for Inv to calm down I notice something strange… Why does it feel like I've sunken a bit?
With this thought I turn my head slightly looking at the side of my body.
I open my eyes in surprise at what I see. Inv's fur has covered up half of my body at this point, and I can see it slowly climb higher.
I was distracted from worrying about Inv that I didn't even notice this!
'Is… is this a bad thing? I don't feel like I'm in danger right now…'
It honestly feels like I'm slowly being covered up in a very snug blanket right now. Well… with the addition of that blanket having millions of tiny little spiders crawling all around on it.
'The bed comes with its own automated blanket? How nice'
While there's just a slight pang of worry by something wrong happening if I let this go on longer. I trust Inv would let me know if I was in danger.
Deciding I should be ok I wait as I fight off my ever-growing sleepiness.
