Chapter 32 - Oxygen

Every system they had access to was running. Every contact was checked. Every possible exit Jay could've taken was traced—only to end in nothing. No signal. No digital footprint. No mistake.

To anyone watching, it seemed like they were close to finding her.

They weren't.

What no one else realized was that this wasn't a failure of skill or resources. Jay hadn't vanished by accident. She hadn't been careless. She had erased herself deliberately, planning every step long before the rest of them sensed something was wrong.

"We can't find her."

Rory's words hit like a hammer. The room went still, heavy with disbelief.

Keifer didn't move at first, eyes fixed somewhere far away, as if refusing to accept it. Then he snapped.

Jay where the hell are you!

The words roared from him, sharp and furious, echoing against the walls. He stepped forward, fists clenched, chest heaving, every muscle tense.

Keifer tell me what did you do to her? Why did she vanish like never exited!

What ddi you tell her?aries asked furious ly

"I didn't hurt her! I didn't lie to her! I didn't push her away! I didn't do anything wrong!"

Aries' glare cut through him. "Then why is she gone?"

Keifer let out a short, bitter laugh, raw with anger and disbelief. "You think I'd ever make her leave? You think I could ever hurt her?" His voice rose, shaking with unrestrained emotion. "She's my everything! My life! My oxygen!"

Rory looked away. Edrix's jaw tightened.

"I love her more than anything on this world!" Keifer shouted, steps forward quick, eyes blazing. "If anyone even thinks I'd let her go… they don't know me at all!"

He slammed a fist against the table, making papers jump. "Find her! Now! Immediately! I don't care what it takes, who you have to push aside—I want her back!"

The room went silent, every eye on him. His voice dropped slightly, but the intensity didn't fade, just became more dangerous.

"Do you understand? I will not stand here while she's gone. Bring her back. Now!"

From the outside, it wasn't guilt unraveling.

It was fury, desperation, and a love so raw it almost burned the air around him.

Keifer*

Jay where the hell are you? Where ever you are come back please....

I can't live without you!
