"Some say I am the beginning and the end. Others say I am the god of this World," the being replied in a mocking tone, as if it were superior—because it truly was.
"So I met God, huh. I'm not surprised," the man said with a straight face.
"What a peculiar human you are. If anyone else were in your place, they would have knelt and worshipped. But you do not. Well, it doesn't matter anyway," the god said.
"Why am I getting a bad feeling about this?" the man asked.
"Oh, you're not getting a bad feeling. You're simply about to be reborn in a different universe—or, to be precise, a different space‑time continuum. You will be reborn as a chaos being," the god said.
"Huh? Hey, you can't do that!" the man protested.
"Oh, but I can. Remember, I am God in every sense of the word—the god who has full control over this World and everything within it," the god replied.
"Full control? Huh…" the man muttered.
"Well, goodbye now. Oh—before that, I shall give you a name. Hmm… Nyarlathotep. Your name is Nyarlathotep," the god said.

Before he could speak another word, he was reborn in a different universe. Along with his rebirth, the god implanted some information about the space‑time to which he had been sent.
