Ever since the legendary battle between Groudon & kyogre and Cyrus on top of Groudon his fame has went straight through the stratosphere theirs been rumors flying around the Poke-net saying Groudon is now Cyrus's Pokémon but only the elite 4 and Champions know what actually happened with Groudon & Cyrus
Cyrus has amped up his training before he goes back to Indigo
Amaterasu is on the brink of Champion tier while CinderWing the Charizard has taken a step forward and become 2rd seat on the team and 3rd belongs to Phantom the Typhlosion and the rest are below level 70 numel is on the brink of evolution and is super-hardworking for a numel and has already learned lava plume & Earth power

Cyrus touches down in Indigo to be met with Pryce & Lance and a bunch of media and Camera's and he smirks to see the disgruntled face of Pryce
Pryce: welcome back Elite Cyrus we are happy your back we've heard of your actions in hoenn and you represented Indigo the best you possibly could
Cyrus thinks: you make it sound like I didn't take care majority of their problems
Which Cyrus basically did especially with team magma and aqua and plus saving the entire region from kyogre with Groudon
Lance: Pryce your giving him too little of credit he stopped team Magma & Aqua plus saving the region from kyogre by teaming up with Groudon he's done what a veteran elite 4 member should have down or you should have done with mewtwo & team rocket
Cyrus thinks: dang Lance just throwing shade like crazy but Pryce deserves it
Pryce grunts and walks away while leaving me with lance and the media
Reporter: we have heard from hoenn about your ideas for regional corporation how far do you want to take this plan?
Cyrus: it will encompass criminal activity for a while before any material trading like for example sinnoh has major holdings over fossils because they specialize in that while hoenn specializes in ores and our Indigo produces evo items the most so eventually I would like regions to start resource trading and during this process maybe a tournament between gym leaders elite 4, and champions to get a bond forming between the regions through high level connections

Reporter #2: Cyrus is Groudon your Pokémon?
Cyrus: Groudon is not my Pokémon he's a legendary him getting captured would throw balance to hell plus I doubt hoenn would appreciate a foreign trainer having their legendary but I can say he's my friend and he's more friendly than most would think
Reporter #3: how can you talk to Pokémon?
Cyrus: I have a power called aura which is bonded to the fire type so I'm able to talk to any Pokémon but it's significantly easier for me to talk to Fire types which was why I was able to communicate with Groudon so easy. any other question?
Reporter #4: what do you think of lance challenging Pryce for his spot of champion
Cyrus: I support Lance for a couple reasons 1. Pryce is too stuck in his ways that worked 30 years ago during the war from my understanding 2. we need new ideas for Indigo to prosper like I was doing in Hoenn by proposing regional corporation and I believe Lance will push for new things to happen
It goes on and on until lance and Cyrus had enough and left heading towards the league hall and they enter the league hall to be met with Agatha & Lorelei
Cyrus: I'm surprised you aren't against this Lorelei
Lorelei: my uncle is stuck in his ways and is unwilling to go forward he's stuck in the past and I'm more surprised that you had the balls to do anything considering you were just put into your position a month or so ago
Cyrus: It didn't matter even if Pryce wanted to remove me and he needs all 3 elite 4 members that aren't be considered for removal and Pryce and Agatha wouldn't have agreed and you aren't enough
Lorelei smirks and walks away admiring the gut it takes to do something like this
Lance: tomorrow is my match against Pryce and you also have a match
Cyrus: who? and are they in their right mind I mean for arceus sake I was just in a battle with a legendary against another one
Lance: it's my cousin Clair she thinks this is all hype drawn up by you and hoenn league to boost your reputation and also 1 thing take her down a peg she needs it
Agatha: hah funny coming from the king of arrogance
Lance sighs in frustration
Lance: I have the power to back up my arrogance and I know theirs a line between confidence and arrogance Clair does not so Cyrus beat her and secure your position because I need you for what is to come in the coming years
Cyrus: Okay this is gonna be fun

Lance: because that Pokémon would crush her confidence completely and also don't tell anyone else but other than my emperor I don't think any of my other Pokémon stand a chance and even with emperor it's 50/50
Cyrus: thank you for the complement but I'm not arrogant enough to say the rest of team can even match your Pokémon let alone Emperor
