Chapter 1 - ROMANCE MASSAGE

The first time Tobi's fingers brushed Sade's waist, it felt like an accident that both of them secretly wanted. They were standing too close in the small massage room, the light low, the air warm, her breath slow and soft, his heart beating faster than it should. She didn't move away. Instead, she turned her face slightly, just enough for him to notice her lips, just enough for him to imagine what it would feel like to kiss her and forget where they were.

Tobi worked at a quiet massage lounge hidden behind a busy street. It was meant to be calm, peaceful, a place where people came to relax and forget their stress. But inside that place, emotions often woke up instead of sleeping. He had seen it many times. Touch does things to people. Slow hands, soft music, and silence can make hearts talk louder. Tobi was careful with his job, but he was still human, and humans feel things even when they try not to.

Sade came in every Friday evening. She always asked for Tobi. At first, it was normal. She said he had good hands and knew how to listen. But after some weeks, her smiles stayed longer. Her eyes followed him around the room. Sometimes she talked about her lonely nights, her empty bed, and how touch was the only thing that made her feel alive again. Tobi listened, nodded, and tried not to think too much, but his body sometimes betrayed him.

The lounge had other girls too. Amaka worked there, tall and bold, never hiding her feelings. She laughed loud and touched people like she owned the world. There was also Zainab, quiet and gentle, whose voice was always low like she was afraid of saying too much. And Funmi, playful and full of jokes, always teasing the guys and calling them sweet names. They all worked with different clients, but sometimes lines crossed, even if no one said it out loud.

The guys were not innocent either. Tobi had friends there. Kunle, who believed love was just a game. Musa, who kept his heart locked but his eyes open. And Emeka, who fell too easily and too fast. They all felt things during work hours. Some fought it. Some enjoyed it. Some got confused. The massage tables became places where desire sat quietly, waiting for a small mistake.

One night, after closing, Sade stayed back. She said she forgot her phone charger. Tobi knew it was a lie, but he didn't call her out. The room felt different without the music and customers. She stood close again, closer than before. Her voice dropped. She told him she liked how he touched her, not just with his hands, but with his attention. Tobi swallowed hard. He told her it was dangerous. She smiled and said danger makes life sweet.

At the same time, Amaka was dealing with Kunle. Their connection was loud and fast. They argued, laughed, and touched like fire. Everyone saw it. They denied nothing. Amaka liked how Kunle made her feel wanted, even if she knew he might not stay. Kunle liked how Amaka didn't ask questions. They met after work, shared drinks, shared beds, and shared secrets they never planned to keep.

Zainab had her own story. She fell quietly for Musa. He never crossed any line, but his calm made her feel safe. During sessions, she noticed how careful he was, how he asked if she was okay, how he never rushed. She started dressing nicer when she knew he would be around. Musa noticed but pretended not to. He had been hurt before and promised himself never to mix feelings with work again.

Back to Tobi and Sade, the tension grew heavier. That night, they stood in silence. He could smell her perfume, feel her warmth. She reached for his hand and placed it on her lower back, slowly, asking without words. Tobi closed his eyes. His mind screamed no, but his body leaned forward. Their foreheads touched. It was soft, slow, and full of want. They didn't kiss, but it felt like they already had.

Funmi watched many of these things happen. She joked about love but wanted it badly. She liked Emeka, even though he was shy and unsure. She touched his arm when she laughed, sat close when they talked, and sent him late-night messages just to feel connected. Emeka liked her too but feared losing control. He had seen what happened when feelings went wrong in that place.

Days passed, and feelings grew stronger. The lounge became a place of secrets. Looks lasted longer. Touches meant more. People pretended nothing was happening, but everyone felt it. Tobi struggled the most. Sade was always on his mind. During sessions, he focused too much. His hands shook sometimes. He started waiting for Fridays like a man waiting for love, not just a client.

One evening, Sade came in wearing a simple dress that hugged her body. She lay on the table, trusting him completely. As he worked, she sighed softly, not loudly, just enough to show she felt good. Her words were gentle, but her meaning was deep. She told him she felt safe with him. That safety scared Tobi more than desire. Safety meant attachment. Attachment meant trouble.

Outside the lounge, the world continued. But inside, hearts were opening slowly. Amaka started wanting more from Kunle, even though she said she didn't care. Zainab dreamed about Musa touching her with love, not work hands. Funmi waited for Emeka to be brave. And Tobi stood in the middle of a line he knew he should not cross, but wanted to cross so badly.

That night, after everyone left, Tobi sat alone in the dark room. He thought about rules, about money, about respect. Then he thought about Sade's eyes and how she looked at him like he mattered. He knew the story had only started. Desire had entered the room, and it was not leaving quietly
