Love is one of the strongest emotions still yet, the most feeble.
Thinking about it now, it might have began with simply longing then followed by admiration. I know now this is strangely more than that.
I wonder what the word would be for you wanting to be with a person so much so that you'd be willing to kill them so they would be right besides you whenever and however you desired it.
Only a crazy person would do that right? And I am definitely not crazy. Killing someone because you want them to never leave you forever is terrible no matter what lens you view it from but that wasn't what I was thinking about initially
Let's back track a bit upon how I landed on this train of thought about love and the things it can make people do.
Before wondering about love, I was thinking about famous celebrities which we see and admire almost on a daily basis. How their love life would be like in actual reality versus the views, photos and videos that are shoved down our throats everyday and just before that, I was thinking about Lisa.
I have always been kind of unlucky when it came to relationships and with my last one, I just couldn't understand what went wrong and at what point. Everything seemed perfect until it wasn't so I had to end it.
Lisa helped me changed that. You must be wondering, who the hell is this Lisa?
Lisa is a fast-rising Celebrity who is not only a model but a well rounded entertainer. She is an actress, a singer, a dancer and apparently is also into pro basketball. Most people I know of would kill to have that kind of lifestyle but what I really found intriguing about her was the music.
I had just broken up with my last girlfriend, was mindlessly scrolling through Streamline when I saw a video of Lisa singing to a cover of Meave's song on the platform. I was immediately hooked and wanted to know everything about this stranger that instant.
I immediately scrolled to her wall, listened to all the songs and videos she'd made and none of them failed to disappoint in any way.
There was something about her voice, the way she made gestures with her fingers while singing that just seemed to drag your attention and you'd be glued to the screen before you'd even realise it.
After that day, I followed up on all her releases and any merch she dropped, I always made sure I got them. At least this was my way of supporting and thanking her for the help she had given me during a tough time of mine.
Lisa's POV.
"I don't understand why I have to do this interview, can't we just pretend I am indisposed or I have an emergency? "
"Lisa, we are already here. It's too late to cancel now sweetie. You are going to have to make it work and besides, this is going to be good for the brand name."
"Seriously? You'd pick how my brand looks over how I am currently feeling? " I asked sarcastically with my eyes.
Without even looking at me, Laurel replied, "Yeah and don't forget all the buzz you got the last time you came here."
"It was because that racist piece of ass couldn't tell the difference between knowing when to stop a joke and taking it too far," I replied almost yelling.
"Still, it got you into the top trending searches across all social media platforms, " Laurel said holding my shoulder.
"It's like you purposely hear only half of what I say Laurel."
"I know sweetie, now please put on a smile and make this a success OK? "
"Sure, " I said grouchily.
I walked up to the podium, smiled at the announcer, pulled a sit out and sat down.
"Hey Lisa. "
"Hey Jake, " I replied.
"I hope you weren't too offended by my comment the last time we were last together? "
"Of course not, I know how to take a good joke," I replied with a fake smile.
"I am glad."
Immediately, we heard...
"We are airing in three, two, one and we are live, " the manager yelled out and sat down.
Jake started with his first question.
"Lisa, you have been on this show before. How do it feel to be back? "
"Well Jake, it feels good honestly. I remember telling my manager this just two hours ago. I am so exicted to get the chsnce to be on the Share it Live show. "
"Well, we are glad to have you on here as well. You have an ablum coming out very soon right? "
"Yes, I do, " I said and smiled.
"Tell us a bit about it. "
"Well, I am being very open with creative process this time around. The name of the album is paradox and I chose that name because I plan to take a lot of different elements which normally shouldn't be together and put it in ways most people have never heard. "
"I am a huge fan so I join your livestreams whenever I can. "
"Aww, thank you Jake. "
"I do recall you during one of them saying the ablum contradicts your previous two. "
"Yes hence the name paradox. In my past projects, I have leaned heavily towards emorap which reflects in the love songs, heartbreak songs and all the melodic tunes but this time, I lean heavily into a more egotistical person and how emotions and feelings aren't really relevant. I don't know if you get me? "
"I do. I guess we will be expecting to see a new version of Lisa then. "
"I guess we will. "
