Bardock put his hand over his brow to block the sun, looking at the dense array of caves, and couldn't help but frown. "Why are there so many? I only have three days. In three days, let alone learning these secret techniques, just finding them would take more than three days."
He turned his head, his gaze fixed on the Grand Elder, and asked directly, "Grand Elder, where is the cave for the Instant Transmission secret technique?"
"Instant Transmission!"
The Grand Elder's face showed an expression of extreme surprise, his eyes full of doubt. He was sure that this Saiyan Emperor was visiting Planet Yadrat for the first time. How did he know that Instant Transmission was here?
Seeing the Grand Elder's surprised and uncertain expression, Bardock's voice deepened, carrying a clear threat. "What, don't tell me you don't have the Instant Transmission secret technique here!"
Hearing the threat in Bardock's words, the Grand Elder's heart tightened. He secretly pondered that since the Saiyan Emperor could so confidently demand to learn Instant Transmission, he must have known about it for a long time. Hiding it would only lead to a quicker death.
After realizing this, he quickly said, "Yes, yes. Saiyan Emperor, please follow me!" After speaking, he began to climb the mountain by himself.
When they reached the summit, only three cave entrances remained. The Grand Elder pointed to the middle cave. "Saiyan Emperor, the Instant Transmission you seek is in this cave."
Bardock nodded. "Thank you, Grand Elder, for leading the way." After thanking him, he intended to walk inside.
The Grand Elder quickly stopped him and said with a solemn expression, "Saiyan Emperor, the secret techniques on this mountaintop are not like those below. These three secret techniques are known as Divine Secret Techniques, and only those with a pure heart can learn them…" He deliberately paused after speaking.
Bardock smiled indifferently. "No matter. If I cannot learn it, I will absolutely not implicate the innocent. You can rest assured of that."
Are you kidding? In the original story, Majin Buu could learn Instant Transmission. How much sin does Bardock even have on him? He's not flustered at all!
The Grand Elder breathed a sigh of relief after getting the assurance. At least he didn't have to worry about Bardock becoming enraged and destroying the planet if he couldn't learn the secret technique.
He nodded. "Then, Saiyan Emperor, please help yourself. This old man will descend the mountain first."
After speaking, without waiting for Bardock's reply, he directly walked down the mountain.
Bardock looked at the Grand Elder's receding back and smiled. "This old man. Divine Secret Techniques, huh!"
"In the original story, Son Goku took a year to learn it. I wonder if I, as his father, can learn it within three days."
Before entering the cave, Bardock took a deep breath and prepared to make an intergalactic call to Paragus, who was far away on Saiyan Star. He was afraid that he wouldn't make it back in time and Saiyan Star wouldn't be prepared for defense.
The communication connected, and Paragus's voice came from the other end. "Your Majesty, how are things on your side?"
Bardock spoke very quickly. "Paragus, I've found a place to learn secret techniques here, but I'm not sure if I can learn it in time and make it back. In three days, Frieza's brother, Cooler, will invade Saiyan Star. If I haven't returned in three days, you must organize the defenses and prepare to fight Cooler."
Paragus's tone was anxious. "Your Majesty, you must succeed. The hope of Saiyan Star rests on you."
Bardock said in a deep voice, "Don't worry, I will give it my all. But you must also remember my instructions and not be negligent in the slightest."
After hanging up the communication, Bardock no longer hesitated and strode into the cave.
Sitting in the empty cave, Bardock slowly sat down cross-legged. His eyes tightly closed, he concentrated his energy to sense the faint carvings on the cave wall with his mental power.
Time seemed to freeze, and silence enveloped the surroundings. After an unknown amount of time, Bardock finally slowly opened his eyes.
He murmured to himself, "I don't know if it counts as a success. Let's try it first."
Bardock extended two fingers of his left hand to his temple. His expression focused and serious, he concentrated on sensing the ki.
"I've got it, the Grand Elder's ki." As soon as Bardock finished speaking, he instantly vanished from the cave.
The Grand Elder was leisurely sitting in his living room, savoring a cup of fragrant tea.
Suddenly, the space next to him blurred and twisted, and a figure abruptly appeared.
"Who!" The Grand Elder was startled, almost dropping the teacup in his hand. When he saw who it was, an astonished expression appeared on his face again. "Saiyan Emperor?"
Bardock opened his eyes, looked at the Grand Elder in front of him, nodded with satisfaction, and said with a smile, "It seems I've learned it. By the way, Grand Elder, how many days did it take me to learn the secret technique?"
The Grand Elder dared not be slow and quickly replied, "It has only been one day since His Majesty entered the cave."
Bardock was slightly startled, then said, "One day, huh? There's still time. Grand Elder, I'll be leaving now." With that, Bardock's figure disappeared again.
He didn't return to Saiyan Star immediately but chose to go back to the mountain. He planned to first see what the other two Divine Secret Techniques were.

Bardock casually chose a cave, then quickly and without hesitation scurried inside.
