Clementine began banging her hands on my Clorafite weapons, so I quickly recalled them back into my dimensional ring.
"They're all scattered. One of them is pretty close to us, but the other three are going for the other ice towers."
"...?"
They're not coming for their friend?
Usually, when a Reaper dies nearby, the others immediately come flocking to it.
That's why I was so tense.
But apparently... they just don't care?
"Are you sure?"
"Of course I'm sure."
She rolled her eyes.
"The closest one to us seems like it's observing us."
With that, she pointed into the blizzard, probably directly at where the Reaper was.
"They have some weird abilities though. If I get too close to them, my Soul Weapons just stop working."
"That happened to you too?"
I raised a brow.
"They might be wearing some energy dampening artifacts then."
Here I thought the one I fought had some kind of energy dampening Gift...
Clementine stood up and wiped the snow off her clothes.
