Chapter 154 - The Divine Healer [ 1 ]

"Yawn..."

By the time I woke up, Clementine was already dressed and ready to leave.

Honestly, I had no idea how she keeps slipping away from my grasp without waking me up.

Was she phasing?

"Aliyah knocked on our door a few times, so get dressed. We're leaving."

I nodded and did just that, putting on a fresh pair of clothes and, alongside Clementine, stepping out of the room.

Sensing that Aliyah was downstairs, we went down, spotting her eating at one of the tables in the corner.

To my surprise, she had bought food for three people.

And while I didn't expect her to be so considerate, I sat down with Clementine and began eating the sausages and toast.

None of us spoke, only ate the food.

Once we were finished, we silently stepped out of the inn and began making our way to the west again, just this time, we decided to get a nice and comfortable carriage.

And so...

"You two talk a lot," Aliyah said.

I shrugged.

"We're a couple. Of course we talk a lot."
