"Clementine...?"
"That's a very bold statement."
With a frown, Adam approached Clementine, stopping before her.
"Do you prioritize arrogance or experience? Putting the life of another person in the hands of a complete beginner is something that will not happen on my mountain."
Despite his harsh words, Clementine didn't back down.
"That's why I'm asking you to teach me."
Right as Adam opened his mouth to reply, Clementine sang a single beautiful note.
A faint breeze washed over me, and in an instant, I felt my body become lighter, and the faint muscle strain simply vanished.
That added a smile to my face.
"I'm the Queen of Sirens. I can treat people's injuries and soul damage. What I can't do is heal them."
She narrowed her eyes.
"But I would be able to if you taught me how."
With that, a heavy silence descended on the mountaintop.
I was completely in Clementine's corner.
After all, I knew just what she was capable of.
