Jasmine sat on the rock to rest a while to regain her strength, drank a mouthful of water, then eagerly returned to the lakeshore.

This time she did not hold the fish spear anymore because she saw it was less effective; instead, she treated her thick coat like a fishing net. Whenever a variegated carp swam over to eat the bread crumbs on the water surface, Jasmine immediately spread her coat wide, her whole body lunging into the water like an otter, using the coat to cover the fish's head.

Although the strength of the variegated carp was not small, thrashing its tail very hard, the weight of an adult pressing down was not something a fish could easily escape from.

Although this method was crude and simple, wetting her whole body, honestly speaking, the efficiency was much higher than using a fish spear.
