When the large clock chimed eight times, June finally rushed in, panting heavily: "Good morning, Mrs. Green. Oh my, I thought I was late, thank goodness."

"Haha, June, how could you be late with Mrs. Green here? Don't worry." Mrs. Green winked, flipping through the attendance book: "I signed for you already, just calm down."

June breathed a sigh of relief, put down her handbag, and saw Alex sitting obediently to the side. She frowned, seemingly wanting to say something but stopped, not uttering a word.
