Synopsis
Laudia is a fallen angel condemned to guide a single human bloodline as punishment for an unnamed sin. For over 1,500 years, she has watched generations pass—offering protection, guidance, and silence—never aging, never forgiven, never loved. The cycle breaks with Agnes. Unlike her ancestors, Agnes does not worship Laudia. She resents her. She remembers the day her mother died, begging for salvation while Laudia watched with calm, unfeeling eyes. To Agnes, holiness is not mercy—it is cruelty dressed in light. As Agnes grows older, her defiance becomes intentional. She challenges Laudia’s authority, manipulates her reactions, and exposes the cracks beneath her divine composure. What Laudia sees as rebellion, Agnes sees as truth. Their relationship becomes a quiet war of control, curiosity, and unspoken desire—blurring the line between guidance and obsession, divinity and humanity. As buried memories surface and Laudia’s punishment begins to unravel, one question remains

Chapter 1 - prologue

A thousand years ago, there was an angel who walked unseen among humans.

She guided them in silence—gentle in mercy, radiant in light, yet ruthless when judgment was demanded. To humans, she was only a presence: a feeling of safety, a miracle narrowly escaped, a whisper of protection they could never see.

She was beautiful beyond human words.

Many men admired her unknowingly, drawn to the warmth she left behind.

But none dared to love her.

Until one man did.

At first, the angel believed it was nothing more than human nature—admiration, curiosity, fleeting emotion. Humans loved easily. Humans forgot easily.

But days passed.

And the man remained.

He spoke with sincerity.

He showed care not driven by desire, but by devotion.

He loved her as if she were not divine—only real.

And slowly… the angel fell.

She crossed a line that angels were never meant to cross.

A love forbidden between heaven and earth bloomed in secret.

When God discovered the truth, punishment followed.

The man was spared—but cruelly.

His memories of the angel were erased.

Every touch. Every promise. Every love.

He forgot her completely.

Time moved forward.

His heart changed.

He married a human woman and built a life that no longer included the angel who once guided his fate.

The angel watched.

She watched the man she loved smile for someone else.

Build a family.

Live happily—free of the pain she carried alone.

Her punishment was eternal.

God decreed that she would become the guardian of his bloodline—generation after generation. She would protect them, guide them, and watch their lives unfold… while never being seen, never being loved.

Her once-golden wings turned black.

Only by guiding his descendants faithfully—until her final black feather turned white—could she return to the Golden Palace.

So she obeyed.

Silently, she protected them through wars, births, deaths, and time itself. The family passed down stories of a holy presence watching over them—never knowing the truth behind her devotion.

Never knowing the heartbreak she carried.

Today marks the eighteenth birthday of the 1,500th generation.

The girl the angel has protected since birth stands on the edge of adulthood.

And with her final duty fulfilled, the angel's last black feather turns white.

At last…

the gates of the Golden Palace await.
