Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

When I returned to my room, I collapsed onto the floor.

It was terrifying—losing my life just because I hadn't had sex.

That was insane.I took a deep breath. This system was extremely dangerous. I had to be careful.

I remembered the System Shop and the currency exchange in the Homecracker section.

[Each Life Point equals five thousand dollars. Do you want to exchange?]

I pressed the System Shop button that appeared before me. Most options were locked.

Only the clothing section, a food store, and an apartment gallery were available.

To buy a fully furnished apartment, I needed one hundred thousand dollars.

Right now, all I needed was a few luxury outfits.

Then I noticed an open option.

[Auction Section.]

I clicked it. A tavern was listed for sale.

At first, I doubted it was real—but the price was reasonable.

If I sold fifty Life Points, I could afford it.

If I managed to restore the tavern, I could attract women…

and keep my Life Point counter from reaching zero.

[Congratulations, Player. Your apartment has been renovated]

[The tavern has been purchased]

[You now own the Crimson Light Tavern]

[A clothing set has been purchased]

[You have 90 Life Points remaining]

In the blink of an eye, the apartment changed. Fresh paint, luxurious and attractive furniture—as if it were not my worn-out place at all. I took a deep breath and opened my closet, finding all the clothes I had purchased through the shop inside. Instead of food, I chose to renovate the apartment in exchange for ten Life Points. It was worth it.

[Your Value has increased to 2]

[The higher your Value, the greater the rewards you will receive from exceptional missions. You can continue increasing your Value by improving your appearance and what you own]

After changing my clothes, someone knocked on the apartment door.

"Is that Samita?"

Wait—why was I still thinking about her? I forced myself to focus. Thinking about Samita wouldn't help me now.

"Mr. Vikas Alexander, please take this key to the tavern. My name is Max, the former manager."

I stared at him. He was a man in his mid-thirties. I took the key from his hand. He looked sad—perhaps he had once been the owner of the tavern.

"Let's talk inside, if you don't mind."

His eyes clearly showed shock at the luxury of the furniture. He sat down on the sofa across from me.

"I know the deal is done and that I've lost the tavern, but please take good care of it. It was my first and only project. I was forced to sell it,"

Max said, staring at the floor while clenching his fist.

"Mr. Max, it's true that I'm the owner now, but I have no desire to take a single penny or make profit from the tavern. You can stay on as its manager. What I want is something else,"

I said calmly, watching him slowly lift his head.

"I'm sorry, sir, I didn't say that so you'd pity m—"

Before he could finish, I interrupted him.

"The truth is, I want revenge on a woman who fired me from my job. I want to shock her and crush her until she regrets ever looking down on me. I'll use the tavern only to satisfy my desires. It's under your control, Mr. Max."

I stared directly into his eyes. He didn't say a word for several minutes.

"Alright, Mr. Vikas. Thank you for this,"

Max said. Before he could say anything else, his phone rang. He asked for permission and answered. His face turned miserable.

"She can't take the house. She can't throw you out. Don't worry, my sister—take Mom to the tavern. I'll find a solution."

He ended the call, visibly tense. I hadn't planned to interfere, but his words caught my attention.

"My stepmother has gone too far. I need to put an end to her."

"I can help you get revenge on her. That's what I'm best at destroying other people's homes."

Max hesitated. He had looked into my background before coming, but found nothing useful.

"My father died two months after marrying that bitch. I suspect she was the reason. Last week, she married another rich man. She didn't just steal my father's property, she kicked my mother and sister out of the only house we had left. She took all my money, put my younger brother in prison, and threatened me. If I didn't mortgage the tavern at auction, she wouldn't release him."

His veins bulged. I felt a rare trace of sympathy.

"Her name is Zoe Black. She's a former fashion model. She kept her marriage to my father a secret."

When I heard her name, I was shocked. Damn it—she was my favorite model. The one I had always lusted to. I never thought she was obsessed with wealth.

"Give me every detail you can about her personal life. I'll take care of her. And by the way, your family can use my apartment instead of the tavern. Don't worry—I won't do this for free. I'll tell you what I want when the time comes."

As I finished speaking, a system screen appeared before me.

[Daily System Mission:

Have sex with Max's sister, Miss Linda.

Reward: An additional gift from the System Shop]

[Weekly Mission:

Sleep with 20 girls to advance to Level Two]

[Monthly Mission:

Destroy the homes of seven people

Reward: The System Shop will be upgraded to Silver Level

Additional reward: 300 Life Points at the end of the month]

Things were getting complicated. But for the sake of revenge, I would do it—my way.

Another call made Max stand up from the sofa.

"Sorry, Mr. Vikas, I have to go. Some criminals brutally beat my brother inside prison. I'll send my sister your apartment location. I truly appreciate what you're doing, and I won't forget it,"

he said before leaving and closing the door.

I smiled slyly, already thinking about how I would sleep with his sister.

Less than ten minutes later, someone knocked again. I opened the door—and froze.

It was Samita.

She was wearing an attractive red dress, her strong perfume intoxicating.

"Hello… I—I came to thank you for your kind words that day,"

she said hesitantly.
