Chapter 57
Lazuli's eyes widened in complete bewilderment as she stared at Ye Yu.
This man said he was very angry?
Did he have some kind of problem? What did his anger have to do with her?
Could she possibly help him "cool down"?
But glancing at her brother still restrained by the snake, she forced a strained smile toward Ye Yu.
"So… sir, how about I buy you a watermelon to help you calm down?"
Watermelon?
Ye Yu let out a light chuckle, then leaned close to her ear and whispered a few words.
Lazuli's face first showed shock, then visible redness spread across it.
Of course, this wasn't from embarrassment—it was pure rage at this shameless bastard.
Her chest heaved dramatically as she struggled to control herself.
But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't suppress the fury in her heart.
She had been a chaebol heiress since childhood—when had she ever heard such filthy language?
"You want money? I can give you money. Any other compensation is negotiable. If you really have those kinds of needs, I can have my subordinates find you a few beautiful women. But your request is impossible! And don't go too far—do you really think you can do whatever you want? If you dare do anything to my brother, I swear I will never let you go!"
Hearing Lazuli's furious words, Ye Yu simply laughed.
This woman still hadn't realized her current situation.
Snap…
Ye Yu lightly flicked his fingers. The green snake immediately slithered over, dragging Lapis with it.
"You bastard—what are you going to do to my brother?!"
Lazuli's face was filled with shock and rage, her eyes glaring at Ye Yu as if she wanted to kill him.
But her legs still refused to obey her at all.
"I'm just letting you understand your current situation."
As soon as Ye Yu finished speaking, the green snake grew larger again, then directly swallowed Lapis whole.
"AHHHH!!"
Lazuli let out terrified screams, frantically crawling forward in madness.
"Stop screaming—he's not dead yet! The snake's stomach acid takes about four hours to digest. If he's released within that time, he might still survive."
Ye Yu crouched down and lightly patted her fair cheek.
He had to admit—Lazuli's aura was completely different from Kurumi, Ichika, and the others.
Looking at her refined features and furious eyes, she carried a unique kind of charm.
"So now you understand what you need to do, right? After all, you don't want anything to happen to your beloved little brother, do you?"
In truth, Ye Yu was lying. The mutated green snake hadn't actually swallowed him into its stomach. Otherwise, with the strength of its gastric acid, Lapis would have dissolved into mush in seconds.
But at this moment, Lazuli clung to his words like a lifeline.
She desperately grabbed Ye Yu's thigh, tears welling in her eyes, voice trembling with sobs.
"Please… let my brother out. I'll do anything you want!"
Ye Yu patted her beautiful hair with satisfaction, then stood up and sat on the edge of the bed.
"Then let's begin. After all, your brother can't hold on much longer…"
Lazuli looked at Ye Yu, humiliation flashing in her eyes.
But then she gritted her teeth and slowly crawled toward him…
...
Three hours later, Lazuli sat collapsed on the floor, her hands still frantically touching Lapis, as if trying to confirm he was still alive.
"He's still alive—no need to keep checking."
Ye Yu smiled down at Lazuli.
"Get lost. I don't want to see you anymore!"
Thinking of everything that had just happened, Lazuli could no longer hold back. Tears poured out like a waterfall!
Hearing this, Ye Yu grabbed her hair.
"Are you crazy? You still dare talk to me like that?"
As he spoke, the small green snake suddenly bit off Lapis's left hand.
"Ahhh!!"
"You stop! You bastard—I already did everything you asked! Why are you still doing this to him?!"
Looking at the crazed Ye Yu, Lazuli felt complete despair.
Ye Yu directly threw her aside.
"I'll keep the little green snake by his side. If you disobey me even once, I'll take it out on your brother. If you want him to lose another body part, feel free to make me angry!"
Lazuli trembled with rage at his words. This man's shamelessness and cruelty far exceeded anything she had imagined, but she didn't dare do anything.
She was truly terrified he would go mad and kill her brother outright.
"No… I'll obey. I'll do whatever you say! Right now, can you please call a doctor? He's bleeding so much!"
Ye Yu gently stroked her refined cheek, speaking in an extremely gentle tone.
"As long as you behave and don't make me angry, I won't harm him."
As he spoke, Ye Yu lightly pointed with his finger.
Lazuli saw a milky-white light shine directly onto Lapis's severed hand.
The next second, the bleeding stump miraculously stopped.
Seeing this, Lazuli finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Though he had lost a hand, at least his life was safe!
"Alright. Now take me to see our home."
"Our home?"
Lazuli didn't react for a moment and looked at Ye Yu in confusion.
Since when did they have a home together?
"Your home is mine now. Do you have any objections?"
Lazuli felt a surge of rage rising in her chest, but she forced it down.
She squeezed out another smile.
"No… you're right."
Ye Yu took Lazuli and left the hospital.
At the same time, the barrier around the room was lifted. A nurse walked in, saw Lapis's miserable state, and immediately let out a scream of horror…
Ye Yu and Lazuli soon arrived at a luxurious villa.
It sat on a quiet green plot, surrounded by lush trees and beautiful gardens.
Inside the villa, the first thing that greeted them was a spacious, bright living room.
The floor was covered in luxurious marble tiles, the walls adorned with expensive artwork. The entire space exuded comfort and extravagance.
Several beautiful maids stood respectfully to the side.
They looked strangely at Lazuli—she was currently clinging to Ye Yu's arm like a little bird.
They had never seen Lazuli so intimate with any man.
Could this be her future husband?
Seeing the maids' ambiguous looks, Lazuli forcefully suppressed her anger.
"All of you, get out. Without my order, no one is allowed to come in!"
Watching the maids leave, Lazuli tried her best to speak softly.
"Mr. Ye Yu… we were wrong before. You can make any demand. Please don't hurt my brother anymore. If you like this villa, I'll give it to you as compensation. And money—I'll compensate you as much as possible. Can you please just let us go?"
At this moment, Lazuli looked so pitiful and delicate.
Any normal man would surely feel a twinge of sympathy.
Unfortunately, Ye Yu was a beast—he felt no fluctuation in his heart.
He pulled Lazuli into his arms and spoke gently.
"Now tell me—what fields does my Sli Group operate in?"
Feeling the wandering hand on her body, Lazuli cursed inwardly.
You bastard—that's MY group!
