Chapter 61

Hearing the man's bold declaration, the live chat exploded instantly—nobody expected the streamer to be this gutsy!

[Hurry up, bro! Don't just talk—do it!]

[If you actually go through with it, I'll gift you ten villas!]

[If you don't do it, you're a grandson! All talk and no action—you're just trash!]

At this moment, the man felt utter terror. Then he watched in horror as his own hand slowly picked up the small knife.

The blade came down!

No—nooo!!

An excruciating pain shot through him. Despair flooded his mind.

Am I really going to become a eunuch now??

The live chat exploded again.

This guy is insane—he's literally risking his life for the stream!

Viewer count skyrocketed, gifts poured in like crazy!

Watching the constant stream of gifts flash across the screen, tears streamed uncontrollably down his face.

But before he could sink deeper into despair, he saw the small knife slowly moving toward his own neck…

Meanwhile, Ye Yu had already carried Ireena away from the scene. Of course he wasn't going to let her witness such a disgusting sight.

Back in the small grove, Ye Yu released the few rescued kittens from his summoning space.

They were clearly terrified—once freed, they immediately scattered in all directions.

Ye Yu used his ability to calm their emotions, then surrounded them with telekinesis to keep them safely within the grove.

Ireena looked at Ye Yu with unconscious admiration—he was just too amazing!

Though she had only known him for a short time, Ye Yu had already left an unforgettable impression on both her body and mind.

Now she even felt like he was omnipotent.

"What did you do to that cat-killing scum?"

Ye Yu gently ruffled Ireena's ahoge, then affectionately pulled her close.

"Just gave him a little lesson. Hopefully he won't do something like that again."

(He was already dead beyond dead. Hopefully in his next life he'll be a better person.)

In truth, before the apocalypse, he might have been outraged by cat abuse, furiously typing condemnations online. But after surviving the end of the world, he found it hard to empathize.

After all, human lives were like grass—let alone small animals.

But since Ireena was angry, sending the guy on his way was no trouble at all.

You tortured and killed cats because you felt stronger than them. I tortured and killed you because I'm stronger than you. So you've got nothing to complain about, right?

"Then I'll call the client now and tell her to come quickly!"

Ye Yu glanced at Ireena and suddenly remembered— didn't Lazuli's company have a fashion division?

He could have her make some outfits: elf costumes for Kurumi and Tohka, a witch outfit for Ireena, and maybe some other fun clothes…

While he was lost in thought, a pleasant voice suddenly came from nearby.

Ye Yu followed the sound and saw an absolutely stunning girl running toward them.

Her features were perfectly sculpted, like a work of art. Every line was flawless—her translucent white skin shimmered like the finest mutton-fat jade. Bright, sparkling eyes, delicate cherry-pink lips that added a touch of gentleness. Long black hair cascaded over her shoulders like a waterfall. She wore a mini plaid skirt and black thigh-high stockings, with red ribbon bows tied on either side of her hair. Paired with a face cute enough to be illegal—she was breathtakingly beautiful.

She was too gorgeous—completely on par with any other goddess-level girl.

Ye Yu found her extremely familiar but couldn't place her immediately.

Watching her rush toward Ireena, slightly out of breath, she said:

"Ireena, is it true? You really found all the cats?"

Ireena proudly lifted her chin, arms crossed.

"Of course! When I, Ireena, take action, there's no problem I can't solve!"

Then she pointed toward the grove where the obediently waiting kittens were.

"Go check—aren't those the cats you always fed?"

The girl hurried over. Soon, joy flashed in her beautiful eyes.

"Hana, Shiro, Raku… I'm so glad you're all safe!"

The kittens, who had been lying down, heard her familiar voice and immediately ran toward her.

Then Ye Yu watched as she picked up one of the calico kittens.

"Meow, meow…"

That adorable sight instantly made Ye Yu remember who she was.

Yukinoshita Yukino!

The heroine of My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected.

Watching her unable to stop petting the cats, Ye Yu felt like he was melting from cuteness.

At that moment, he suddenly felt a tickle at his waist.

Then he saw Ireena glaring at him with displeasure.

Her hand was pinching his side hard as she whispered:

"You filthy-minded pervert—you're not looking at my client because she's pretty and thinking of doing something shady, are you?!"

Ireena saw Ye Yu staring straight at her client and felt inexplicably sour inside.

This man already had her—yet he was eyeing another girl!

"I was just moved seeing the kittens reunite with their owner. How could you think something so dirty?!"

Then he looked straight into Ireena's eyes.

"Do you really think I'm the type to see one girl and fall for another?"

Seeing Ye Yu's sincere and serious expression, Ireena suddenly felt she had gone too far.

Ye Yu hadn't done anything wrong—he worked hard to help her complete the commission. Yet she not only didn't treat him well but kept unreasonably doubting his character.

Thinking of this, a slight blush rose on Ireena's face. She took Ye Yu's hand.

"Alright… I was just teasing you earlier. Of course I believe you."

At that moment, Yukino also recovered from her joy of reuniting with the cats and walked over to Ireena to thank her again.

"Thank you so much—you saved these little lives. Here's the remaining payment!"

With that, Yukino took out an envelope from her bag—it didn't seem to contain much money.

Then Ireena took the money from the envelope and happily counted it.

Her delighted expression looked like she had seen a long-lost relative.

Confirming the amount was correct, Ireena nodded with satisfaction.

"Then we'll be leaving. If anything comes up later, just contact my Ireena Agency!"

Ireena waved cheerfully at Yukino and dragged Ye Yu away in a very dashing manner.

From start to finish, Yukino's gaze never once lingered on Ye Yu.

Ye Yu wanted to chat with Yukino, but now clearly wasn't the time.

He quietly released a gu insect and attached it to Yukino.

There's plenty of time in the future!

"Ireena, mission complete—where to now?"

Ireena huffed lightly.

"It's getting late—of course we're going home."

As soon as she finished speaking, the scene before her changed.

She was suddenly back in her bedroom. Turning her head, she saw Ye Yu looking at her with a mischievous smile.

"Y-You… what are you doing now?"

But Ye Yu was a man of action—his principle was: if you can act, never just talk.

He kissed her directly…

"You again???"
